Great food as always. Never a bad day when you go to AJ's. Get either the tenderloin on Tuesday or the breakfast burger with the egg still runny. And the cheesy macaroni bites. You won't regret it.
Lafayette doesn't have a lot when it comes to Chicago style food, but AJ's comes pretty close. Their Italian beef is absolutely stuffed with meat, and the au jus is delicious. It's also one of the only places in town to get a hot pizza puff. I've also gotten their loaded fries and some grilled chicken sandwiches that were amazing too, and my husband likes their burgers. It is a little pricey but it's worth it.

Best Italian beef I've had outside of Chicago. We may not have Portillo's here but AJ's is just as good, maybe even better. Chili dogs are a little pricey but very good.
