My husband and I dined at La Scala for the first time last night with a reservation. Service was prompt, food arrived quickly and was fresh, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. We both loved everything we ordered! We will definitely be back.
The food was very delicious and the drinks were great. The portion size was perfect as it left me very full.

Serranos Events by La Scala is a wonderful little place to celebrate big events at Purdue. The food is authentic, delicious, and extremely fresh. Service is professional, prompt, and superb, with helpful and friendly waitstaff who are knowledgeable about the menu. The stuffed chicken with risotto, ravioli, and seafood special are all great. However, some appetizers and the limoncello cake dessert had issues, with dried-out bread and a weird mix of flavors. The atmosphere and decor felt cheap, and it was hard to hear even when the restaurant wasn’t full. Most desserts, like the cheesecake, were very good. Prices are fair for excellent entrees, but spending around $200 on five people felt like a let down. A reservation in advance is recommended.
