“I seriously could not recommend Tania’s in Hobart more. The food is always great but THE SERVICE is everything!! Last Friday, my husband and I took our toddler for dinner there. Our baby was having a rough time and we decided to just order to go. When the manager heard this, he came over and said no no, don’t leave and sat us in the closed off area so that we could eat and our son could walk around. Not only was this over the top accommodating but then our server went brought coloring pages and even brought her own squishmallow to keep him company. When we thanked them, she said we all just have to help each other out! All this to say, we are truly touched by the kindness we were shown and we had a great meal (as always)!“

Stumbled on this eatery a few years ago while traveling from Kentucky to IL and it has become a staple and traditional visit. “18th Street Brewery has excellent craft and Rye! Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed the Pilsner. Support this Woman Owned Business and buy local. We’ll try the food next time. The bar keep Bruce was a lot of fun too! I highly recommend 18th Street Brewery in Miller Beach for craft brewed beer and distilled spirits.“

“Holy smokes. What an amazing taco place and went here for it the first time because my boss said that it was a Pretty good little taco joint, he said you'll probably only be able to eat 2. And I said I've never been able to only 2 tacos in my life. I'm 6'2 300 pounds, they didn't have a 2 Taco dinner so I bought the 3 taco dinner with rice and beans. And these tacos were beautiful, you were allowed to get chorizo and steak on the taco, and it was so full of meat I could only eat 2!!! he was right. , do yourself a favor and stop at this place. It'll be worth your time, and the prices are great!!!!“

When we moved to Hobart, we were told that Hong Kong had the best Chinese food but nope, that is not true. Rice garden is delicious.!! There were four of us so not just my opinion, everybody loved their meals. We ordered crab Rangoon, pork eggrolls, beef and broccoli, beef and snow peas, shrimp and scallops, chicken lo mein, and everybody loved their food. We will definitely go back again!!“

“All the steaks were undercooked. When I told the waitress that it was not making my belly feel very good, she said it looked good to me. I would have eaten it. Medium Rare is not maroon deep red. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp. My kids had the kids' sirloin, and my son had a sirloin. When I complained and told them I didn't want anything else I felt sick from eating it that way the couple bites to get to the middle where it was super rare she came back with a bill and charged me for a shrimp meal. I had to argue with her and ask for a manager who did the charging of the shrimp meal, so I complained again. I told them I didn't come to a steakhouse to get a shrimp and wanted a good cooked steak they finally complied and comped my meal. I also told them my kids' steaks were not done right. My oldest ate them, though, because he can do more rare. Was overall a bad experience, I have been there several times over the years as we travel through going up Michigan and never experienced anything like this. I'm not sure we will stop again it has gone downhill.“

“Visited for the first time a few weeks ago on karaoke night and am still telling others about the positive experience I had! Amanda and Moe (or AMMO for short 😁)were my servers that night and they couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. I had seen Joe, the karaoke host, at another establishment before and knew what to expect. He does an excellent job of hosting and uses better equipment than many of the bars around here, which enhances the performing and listening experience. “My friends and I ate breakfast there the other day. They had remodeled the place. It was brighter& cheery. The only thing I would recommend is bring in some round tables for groups of 6. That makes it Easier for talking & socializing while you eat. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our meals came quick & hot. The store area has many nice things but set up too crowded to actually look well to the point you might miss something you would actually buy. I would actually redo the set up of - how you display the products in the store area to be less congested. It’s just too overwhelming to see it all well in its current set up.“
