Ribeye and Fries

“Had a good experience. We showed up when they opened up at 11am and they only had a few others that came in during our time there. It's a good time to go if you're wanting to eat out without a crowd. The chicken had great crunch and flavor. You got a good amount of chicken for the cost. I chose all dark meat and got 2 legs, 2 thighs and a back. Plan to give extra time for the fried chicken. It takes 30 mins to make. I got mashed potatoes and gravy as my potato side with the fried chicken dinner. They were smooth and the gravy was good but needed salt imo, but that would be good for those who need a low salt option. Coffee was standard diner type coffee; good, hot and fresh. The salad bar had a lot of different salad options. Potato salad, pasta salad, pea salad, cottage cheese, bacon, black olives, ham, onion, etc. Was happy to see poppy seed dressing too.My party said the catfish was amazing. Waitress said the ribeyes are what she would recommend for next time, that they're hand cut and one of her favorites as well as the fried chicken.“

“Ok so this place has a tendency 2 get really busy/crowded on the weekends. After all, it is a bar n the most popular 1 n this small town! So small that the bar is bout the only place 2 go 2 when being an adult here! However the owners as well as the staff is extremely nice n never stop serving u throughout the night at all unless u tell them that ur done 4 the night of course. There's 2 dart boards n 1 pool table at this location.“

“Oh my gosh. If you want home made food GO HERE! I had the chili and it was phenomenal!! My son and friend had the tenderloins and they both gave it a 10 out of 10. For dessert they have home made pies made by grandma. The peanut butter pie was better than those we typically buy from the Amish.Everyone who works there is family and they made us feel right at home. I loved that.I wish I had taken pictures of the inside, but no worries…… I’ll be back and update later. I did take pics of our meals.Side note, my son had already cut his tenderloin into pieces and stacked it on the bun. It was originally way bigger than a dinner plate. It’s hard to find a restaurant that truly serves HOME MADE FOOD!!Go try it out. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Very cool place. I had never been and made this the ending point for a bike ride from Batesville with my Dad. It had a very local vibe, but we were welcomed in immediately. For a remote dive bar they have a very good beer selection. It is worth the trip for the pizza. Service was very friendly. Will be back.“

Tenderloin Sandwich & Cod Fish Dinner

“The specials today were smoked sausage, green beans and potatoes with cornbread and what they call the "Mac" burger. Both specials were around eight dollars. The bartender is attentive and extremely friendly. I got the Mac burger with cottage cheese and he got the green being smoked sausage and potatoes. Sometimes you just want a laid-back non-pretentious dinner like it's a home cooked meal but you didn't have to cook it or do the dishes. I love it that they have a jukebox. I always get it going with my music and you can do it over the Wi-Fi on your phone. This is just a nice laid-back place to sit down and discuss. They have some food and a couple of beers while you listen to music. In the wise words of Toby Keith, "I LOVE THIS BAR".“
