“We stopped in for brunch with our daughter after a doctors appointment. Both service and food are five stars! We ordered the sunny day omelet, huevos rancheros, and French toast. We are not from the area, but will certainly stop at Sunny Fay Cafe the next time we’re in Indy.“
“Great place for breakfast or lunch. I got the steak salad and it was amazing. I added gyro meat and extra avocado. The quality was excellent as was the service. I really liked their coffee as well. Our server and the owner Gina went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. Gina is so friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. I can't wait to return. We almost went to Cafe Patachu. I am so glad we chose this over that. There were way more options. I am doing a keto diet and I found plenty of options. My husband loved the french toast. He said the bacon and potatoes were hot and crispy. The eggs were hot and fluffy. It's really hard to find quality food with good service. This place is it! To top it all off the ambiance was very unique and special. We loved the Hawaiian theme and tasteful unique decor. Please come support this lovely locally owned business.“
“I have had a lot of items on their menu. Their Benedict’s are amazing and they are known for their scrambles as well. You really can’t go wrong with anything here as it depends on your mood and taste. Their sandwiches and salads are great too! And if you haven’t tried a LEFSE, you are missing out! I always have my go to eggs and bacon comfort plate, and let me just say, you will never leave hungry.“
“It's like I don't want to leave a review because I want this place to be my little secret, but also this place is amazing and I want them to be SO successful that they open 10k locations. Almost everything is made from scratch - The ketchup, the hot sauce, the creamer, etc. I've only been there twice - The first time I ordered the breakfast burrito and the second time I got an omelet. They have the BEST hashbrowns in town and for the price I could eat here every day without going completely broke. Don't let the location or strip mall deceive you - This cafe is one of the best in town! Scratch that....it IS the best cafe in town! Go here, eat well, leave happy :)“
“Took my BiL out for breakfast at Art's. We ordered from the Seniors menu. You know Seniors usually don't eat "heavy", so the smaller portions were just about right. Well, mebbe just a little more than I'd bargained for. Still really good. Excellent service. Plenty of fresh coffee to wash down the meal. BiL was impressed. I knew he would be.“
“Excellent breakfast and great service every time. My wife had an omelet with peppers, mushrooms, and spinach. I had the Hoosier Benedict. YUM!The service was timely and so nice, as always. Staff is so friendly.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! ☆☆☆☆☆Vegetarian options: Why?“
“This place is a real gem. Located inside an old filling station, it's far more roomy than you'd expect and the menu has some perfectly executed staples as well as some inventive and creative surprises. It's far less pricey than some of the boujier places, but just as good. Also, mimosas.“
“I usually order on Doordash, but I went and picked up my usual today and everyone was so friendly. Food is obviously stellar, they’ve never gotten my order wrong either. Pricing is amazing considering quality and quantity. You really can’t beat it.“
“Wonderful place to take your wife & mother in law for a sunny brunch.Walk across the street for the ladies' sweet treats at the Starbucks after filling our bellys @ Lincoln Square Pancake House. We were feeling the need to enjoy the sweet drinks/coffee. Went for a walk around Irvington. Close out the brunch with a casual walk around the local shops and historic neighborhoods.Food is good quality and served hot. Also, the orange juice is squeezed fresh.Bathrooms are clean, and the ladies offered us great service!“
“If you like First Watch, this place is similar but with an Italian cuisine influence. That is a good thing for me with a menu a little more adventurous with options and flavors. Food was fresh and service attentive. Gets a little loud when it’s crowded.“
“Gluten free toast, Gluten free breakfast potatoes were great. Bacon was blah - first time I left bacon on my plate.David, our server, was super nice and so cheerful. Definitely will go back - but not for the bacon.Dietary restrictions: Only gluten free options were toast and breakfast potatoes.“
“We were there with very fussy 1 year old and all the staff were patient and helpful! That on top of good food and service.Kid-friendliness: They were helpful and understanding as we had a 1 year old that had just gotten 4 vaccinations and was not happy. They offered various things to help calm her down.“
“The food was even better than expected. We loved the market veggie omelet, Belgian waffle, and grits. We will absolutely be making this a regular brunch spot. I do wish the service had been better. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, only after we went to the hostess stand to let them know we hadn’t been waited on. Then when we did get a server, it was really hard to flag them down to get help. Again, we will be back. The food was great and everyone was friendly. The service was just disorganized.“
“The Snickerdoodle coffee was great, broken egg sandwich was perfect! I stopped in on Black Friday and was pleasantly surprised that they were open, a young lady behind the counter even made me a handmade Christmas card! what more could you ask for?“
“Visiting Indianapolis for the first time. When looking at the front you don't expect a whole lot don't make the mistake of missing it. Entering your immediately hit with the smell of breakfast. you open the menu to a abundance of options, you're met by your server in a very timely fashion and the manager comes over to say hi. At the end of the experience we left with a full stomach. And a happy heart I heavily suggest this place good food, and great company.“
“Cute little spot. I had a Saturday brunch reservation and had no issues with being seated promptly or the service while here. I tried the gateau pancake which was very good but a little too sweet even for someone with a big sweet tooth. The lemon curd and fruit together though is delightful. I would definitely go back to try other menu items.“
“I ordered breakfast through Doordash, and the food arrived still warm! The mushrooms were tasty, but I've had better restraunt style ranch. The biscuits and gravy were great, and it was just overloaded with gravy - which I like! I will have to go in person next time!“
“Came to visit IN for a couple days and I am very happy I found this cute spot. As soon as I came in I knew it was going to be a 5 star experience. I had the surfer girl omlet, with the potato casserole recomended by my lovely waitress and a blueberry muffin. I was also delighted with their freshly swueezed orange juice. Will definitely return when I come to Indy.“
“Rosie's is a fabulous spot! The staff and food are always great! Anytime we've come here with our kids or not the staff have been nothing but amazing! I just went with myself and our 3 young daughters and everyone was above and beyond...5 stars all the way!!“
“Food was not bad, nothing to write home about, though the French toast was wonderful. Staff was friendly, but they had the heat so high, I couldn't hardly breathe, it was miserable. I would go back, but maybe not when it's cold because that was too much.“
“I've been eating breakfast with my family for the past two years at this cozy restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The older lady at the registration is always teaching me a new word in Spanish every time I visit this place. The service is not bad, I don't have to keep asking for water. They know how much I love water, lol.The food is great and affordable. I've never paid over $30 for breakfast for 2 adults and a toddler (of course we share). I only gave it 4 stars because the gluten-free pancakes aren't as good as they were last year. The quality has changed, and they don't look appealing at all. They actually look undone with a weird aftertaste. I wouldn't get the GF pancakes for those of you who are going for this purpose. I also recommend not going anytime after 1pm.Kid-friendliness: The lady at the front loves kids.“
“They serve Koolaid! That was unexpected and tasty. They have an extensive menu. It seems like a very popular local spot. There was a wait when we arrived, and lots of ppl in and out with carry out orders. It’s a soul food spot that is a good as any in the area.“
“The meal was average. I decided to try a variety of items to be safe. The pancake was dense and somewhat oily. The 5oz sirloin was enjoyable. The bacon was tasty. The sausage was mediocre. The grits had a fantastic texture but lacked flavor. The biscuit was undercooked. The French fries were tasty.“
“A few years ago in 2015 my family and I were on the verge of homelessness staying at the now closed motel 6 down the road. I was 15 at the time and scrounged up what I thought was enough money to pay for mine and my sister's meals but when I went to pick them up I was a little over a dollar short. I felt terrible and embarrassed so I was going to run back to our room to see if I could find the money I needed but whoever was working offered to cover the rest of our meal for me. It's been years since then and I'm not sure if she still works there but I want to let her know that I still think about the kind act she did for my sister and I that day. If you're reading this, I am so grateful for the kindness you showed me that day and I hope you're living your best life. Thank you so much, you're a kind soul ❤️“
“There are lots of different things to choose from on this menu. Their breakfast tots are a must try. They're a little bit of an upcharge as a side but worth it! So yummy! My scrambled eggs were so fluffy and perfectly cooked. The pomegranate Mimosa is really tasty as well. They squeeze their orange juice fresh in house...it's always amazing! Our server was super friendly and efficient. Thank you for a great breakfast! We'll definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Egg whites are availableKid-friendliness: Kid's menu available with crayons for coloring“
“Been going here for ages. I cannot tell you exactly why I love this place, because there is just too much to say.The décor is unique, and beautiful. It gives the restaurant an old-world theme, and the scent of rich syrup in the air is warm and inviting.Their pancakes in particular are delicious, but my personal favorite is their pumpkin pancakes. The flavor is subtle, but so good. A close second would be their strawberry pancakes. They also have good eggs and turkey sausage, which are nice paired with the pancakes. If you are feeling extra indulgent, they have some of the sweetest hot chocolate I’ve ever had with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top.Bottom line, this is a nice place to eat. Good food, good prices, and good service. Check it out.“
“Sunrise Cafe is amazing! My youngest daughter and I went there for the first time during some Daddy/Daughter time and had a great time. The food was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We came a second time, this time with the wife and eldest daughter for a family breakfast, and everything was superb. We will be back again soon!“
“Absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend that people check this place out. The portions, flavors and prices were all pretty great. The service was amazing and were so understanding of our changes and time. The shop itself had such a wonderful vibe to it, the decorations really held everything together. We dined inside and ordered the sparkling lemonades with the carbonara and spicy chicken sandwich. Both were great, I preferred the carbonara but my friend preferred the sandwich.Went the next day and ordered again!“
“Veggie bennedict was delicious, best holindaise sauce ever. Love the greens for healthier option to home fries. Waffle a little soggy and chicken tough. Hoosier bread delicious but longed for more cream cheese drizzle. Recommend cream cheese and caramel on side for dipping. Service a little inattentive for my liking on drink refills. Pricy menu.“
“Visiting Indy and staying close by, we walked over on a Sunday morning. It was buzzing but not where we had to wait for a table. Our food was delicious. Ordered was the king cake and the Rambler with no cheese. The kitchen messed up the king cake and because of it, it was remade and was given a discount. That's how it's done! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and made the experience pleasant. Would visit here again.“
“Loved our trip here. Kids had a bunch of fun, waitress was kind and helpful, food was better than fast food options.Dietary restrictions: Waitress was helpful with taking items off for my youngest. She was kind and made sure we knew what was coming out.Parking: Small lot, might be hard to find parking if really busyKid-friendliness: They were great with my kids!!“
