“Stopped for lunch today. My Boyfriend and I shared the green goddess salad, crab hush puppies, and the chicken sandwich. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.”

“My best friend and I went here today, and honestly it was an awesome time. The iced coffee I ordered was delicious, I loved all of the little cat inspired knick knacks and things you can buy. Our appointment felt like it flew by, but it was so fun getting to play with/pet all the kitties. Met an orange one that I wish I could’ve taken home with me but sadly I’m not allowed to bring anymore home 🤣😅. The employees were super nice and helpful too! Prefer the new hideout over the old personally. I might just go there tomorrow night for dessert only to get that French toast bread pudding, one more time. 10/10”

“My husband and I went to Bistro Nota a couple of weeks ago on a cold rainy Friday night. We went because one of the owners/chefs is Jake - formerly of Chop’s Wine Bar (when it was at it’s best). As is Jake’s forte, the the food was fabulous! We tried several different things. We ordered a bottle of the “house” red wine from their varied wine list. It was a great wine, far superior to what I expected from anyone’s house wine! The Pain et Fromage was delicious-Homemade Sliced Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia served with Roasted Pepper Cheese Dip. For dinner we tried their delicious Bistro Mac & Cheese - for an “a la carte” item it was a large portion. We ordered Low country Shrimp (GF) from the “small plates” portion of the menu - my husband doesn’t eat pork so they graciously omitted the bacon. We ordered Beef Teres Major entree -Petite Shoulder Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Marinated, Potato Veloute, Sofrito with Grilled Focaccia. The staff is engaging, congenial & professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, urban, slightly industrial. We will go back to Bistro Nota again and again !!!”

“Stopped in from out of town with little time to spare before the Komets hockey game, almost didn’t go thinking there was no way we’d have time for a sit down restaurant on a Saturday night but called ahead about 15 minutes out. They got us right into a table, our server was with us right away. I never leave reviews but Tonya was so attentive and swift with our service that I felt obligated. In a world where it seems every time you go out and spend your hard earned money to enjoy a nice family meal you end up feeling like a burden on your server or put on the back burner, she was the exact opposite. You could feel that she was genuinely working to ensure that my family was well taken care of and had an excellent experience. We never had to wait for anything, she paid attention, anytime my wife or I thought of something we needed she would pop up and ask before I could even wave her over. (Yet she managed to not be that overeager, constantly asking you if you need anything to the point it becomes obnoxious server). She had several tables and I could see they were all receiving the same attention we were. There was no stopping to play on her phone or going out to take breaks, or talking with coworkers, we were a priority. Our drinks never ran dry and the timing was perfect. We got there and got sat right away, quickly got our drinks, salads immediately after, and by the time we were done with the salads and bread the food was there and PERFECT. The prime rib was amazing and the Ribeye was out of this world! Everything was cooked perfectly the first time out of the kitchen, our couple little requests were immediately addressed by Tonya and she returned quickly. She was great with our kids and even helped pack up our leftovers for the dog. We made it to the Colosseum with time to spare before the puck drop. 5 star food, accommodated quickly, and It was so refreshing to have a server that actually cared so much for her job. From the hostess, to the server, to the kitchen- 5 star service all the way around. We will go back whenever we’re in town.”

“First time visiting this establishment…it’s not many places that I like to eat at because it all taste the same. This place is different vibe, the food was well seasoned differently, I ordered biscuits and gravy Benedict with a side of fried chicken thigh. I don’t know who is in that kitchen cooking but I tasted a lot of soul and unique flavors. I really enjoyed the atmosphere I will be back for sure. Well done well done 💐”
