“The donuts were clearly labeled, and there was a wide variety that would definitely appeal to many donut lovers. I did not try their coffee, but I am picky about coffee and vear away from new coffee shops at times. They had a good selection of gluten-free items, however these delicious treats sell our relatively quick, so early birds are the victors here.

The oatmeal dream pie is just that: dreamy. I would suggest halving it and eating some now and some later, but to each their own. The gluten-free donuts aren't dry at all, and the icing is just right.”

“My husband and I tried Obi’s Outpost today for the first time. We are from Muncie but made a drive to Hartford City today because I had a medical test scheduled in Blackford. My husband found the restaurant while searching for restaurants near us online as he was waiting for me to finish with my testing. We decided to give it a try and let me tell you, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! We love going to different bbq places and Obi’s Outpost is now one of our favorites! I got a picture of our appetizers and our dessert but I failed to get one of our entree. I guess it’s because we were very excited to start eating. Lol We got the pickle bombs, the smoked jumbo wings, and the meat candy…WOW! We also got some of the ribs, brisket, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and corn bread. It was also a huge…WOW! Last but absolutely not least, we got a piece of the HOMEMADE apple cake. The cake was my favorite part of the whole meal! It literally brought me to tears as I was eating it because it made me think of my mother’s zucchini bread. I know that sounds strange but it really tasted like her zucchini bread with chunks of apples inside it. It’s served warm with whipped cream on top and drizzled with caramel sauce…OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I definitely recommend giving Obi’s Outpost a try if you like bbq. Ask for Wendy as your waitress. She was awesome! We will definitely be back!! BONUS: The restaurant is Star Wars themed!”

“This is the second time we have had bad food. I ordered take out. I made a point to tell the person taking my order to please don't leave out the refried beans. They left it out.
They charged me a up fee for leaving out the beef. Food tasted old.
When I picked it up and made a point politely to have a recipe because I get points for my recipes.
I had to ask twice for it and I got a eye roll and a rude noise from the guy.
Don't think I will order again because this was twice this has happened. Time to find a new favorite!!”

“Stopped by for lunch and glad I did. They had a baked steak lunch special that was tender and flavorful. Although a smaller bar, they have a large outdoor patio area with stage. They have a pool table and looks like karaoke certain nights. I will definitely be back.”
