“The chipotle panini is really good. I really enjoyed the Dubai chocolate pistachio latte. The environment is really nice and relaxing. Great vibes, and the owner is a really nice guy. They accommodate for food allergies which is huge for our family, because my son has a severe dairy allergy.”

“I ordered food for carry out some months ago. The 'bacon' burger(I can't remember it's name) was hands-down the best vegan burger I've ever had, and I've had A LOT of them. It was just utter perfection. I also had fries which were delicious, homemade chocolate chip cookies which were superb, and a very tasty and refreshing lemonade. The spot is minutes from both the outlet mall and the beach. The place was clean and cutely furnished. The person who served me(I believe the owner) was absolutely lovely. I live in Michigan, but I will certainly pop-in anytime I'm passing through, or I may just make a trip to MC specially for this burger. I hope this place sticks around! Highly recommend!”

“My wife and I visit Michigan City a half dozen times each year. We stay at the Blue Chip Hotel Casino. Most of our dining is done on property, but we usually stop for a meal in the area on each trip. Today we found Dune Billies when we searched breakfast near me. We were very fortunate to find this place. We went there on a Friday, and it was very busy but there was a table open. I ordered the Captain's breakfast My wife ordered the French toast with walnuts and bourbon glazed bananas. My breakfast came with brown sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs, and potatoes. I consider myself a biscuits and gravy connoisseur, and this was some of the best I have ever had. My wife made a rookie mistake. she let me try her French toast, and I managed to eat easily 1/3 of her breakfast 😂 although the restaurant was busy, Alex our server managed to take our order and get our breakfast to us very quickly. We always enjoy a visit to Michigan City. Now we will be making Dune Billies a regular stop. Maybe next time we will even take home one of their renowned whole quiches!”

“I go here once in a while when I want a good ribeye steak and they always do it right. The baked sweet potato is my go to side and I always love the fried mushrooms for starter. If you ever get a chance to try the blueberry bread pudding for desert go for it it's phenomenal!”

Each time everyone leaves happy and full. Their season/special options are tasty, but their bolognese keeps me coming back for more! Also, one of the best dirty martinis I've ever had!”

Upon entering the gelato shop, I was immediately struck by the enticing array of flavors, each thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. The employee on duty was incredibly helpful, offering recommendations that showcased their knowledge and passion for gelato. Their friendly guidance was immensely appreciated, making the visit even more special.

The highlight of the visit was the kalua tiramisu gelato, an insanely delicious choice that captured the essence of traditional tiramisu with a delightful kalua twist. Opting to pair this rich, decadent gelato with a freshly brewed espresso, I indulged in an affogato. The combination was heavenly—the warm, robust espresso perfectly complemented the creamy, flavorful gelato, creating a luxurious dessert experience.

The shop itself was very cute, with a cozy ambiance that made it a lovely place to relax and enjoy my gelato. The quaint decor and inviting atmosphere added to the charm of the visit, making it a memorable part of my special trip to Union Pier.”
