“The large breaded tenderloin is the best I have ever had. The stuffed breadsticks are also in a league of their own. My hesitation in recommending this restaurant is that the server was so unprofessional and rude to us from jump that is nearly ruined our experience. (Surprisingly she was training someone whom she was also being completely rude towards. ) There was a table outside that they told us we could sit at but every truck that drove by would kick up rocks at us which made it a little less enjoyable as well. If you can ignore the service the food is absolutely delicious.”

“We were looking for someplace different for my daughters graduation open house. Rosebud coffee house was perfect! The space was open and plenty of room for our decorations and guests. The staff was very helpful and made it an easy process. My daughters open house turned out great and I highly recommend.”

I went tonight with a friend and Sydney was our waitress, she was very friendly and made our experience even better. This is truly a gem to Yorktown. “Atmosphere: Great place to meet a friend or to come and study or work. There is free Wi-Fi, a (more than) generous amount of plug ins, a lot of comfortable seating, games, books (& children’s books), and clean restrooms. Also gotta point out that I love their area for small businesses to hang up cards/ flyers! 🫶 Food & Drink: Amazing ! Can’t remember what I ordered the last 2 times but that’s because each time I just talk to the people up front and tell them what I like, and they make something great for me! 🙂 Staff: As I mentioned above, they’re great! “Tried the famous onion burger. 2 paddies with grilled onions nestled between the paddies. Very hot and tasty. Fries are skinny and hot. The oil was clean and the resturant did not have an odor of cooking oil. Everyone was pleased with food and service. Working Model train was fun to see above our heads.”

“Best Mexican. Some of the key points that make them great are in the details. For instance, a lot of Mexican restaurants will go heavy on the onion in pico. There is a good ratio of tomato and onion, beautifully chopped. What the says is, they are willing to make the investment in taste, rather than saying, they have it and providing it at a cheaper cost to them (lots of restaurants go heavy on the onion, a much cheaper ingredient). Additionally, the margaritas are 100% consistent. There is no Mexican restaurant in Muncie that has margaritas that come out the same color every time. Generally, there are various shades of green, which means, that the person making the drink determines whether or not they’re going to skimp on tequila. If you’re a vegetarian, this is the place to go. Juan even put a vegetarian chimichanga on the menu for me! The Gaston location is fabulous. We loved having Beth as our server. 10 out of 10!”

“Wow. This place is amazing !! Their pizza, sandwiches , salads and apps are so yummy. I have never had anything to eat here that wasn't good. However, today they did something to make me a life long customer. I ordered a pizza to take home, On the way home I got an emergency call I had to go help with immediately. Sadly the pizza got left in my very hot car for 2 hours. I called Arts and asked a manager if they thought it was still safe to eat. They just were not sure, so they said bring it back and we will make you a new one, no charge. What!! This was not their fault. I left it in the car, I didn't ask for anything yet they stepped up to offer me a replacment . I live 45 min. away so I didn't go back, but their kindness was unbelieveable.. I am an Arts girl from now on !!”

“Took my adult son to lunch at Toast Cafe today. The place’s decor is ‘50’s fun. Clean and casual. Food was delicious and filling. Son had eggs and French toast; I had chicken sandwich with onion rings. Service was good and wait staff were pleasant. Much better than anticipated.”

“In the words of the kids today, I am shooketh! This was such a delightful surprise. The food came out so quickly and it did not let us down. We got wings, onion pedals, and the beer cheese burger. The flavor on the burger is amazeballs. Genuinely as full before I finished it but finished it just because it tasted so good. The vibe is perfect, we got a flight and also bought a bottle of their mead- which was better than dessert, and worth the money. The prices are also great! The Urban Industrial vibe of the restaurant is complimented nicely with the music and the employees are also their own vibe. It’s kid friendly; we will be back!”

“The Yats in Muncie, IN is one of the most wonderful establishments around, and certainly a must-try for everyone who’s on the lookout for a different, yet delicious selection of cuisine apart from the same-old eats in the Muncie area. From their rather cozy and hip atmosphere and look, down to their very lovely, unique, and bright-eyed crew who are always pleased to see the regular faces and thrilled to introduce any new ones, there’s so much to love about this nice little spot in the Village. If you ask me, you must try my personal favorite entrées: their Chili Cheese Étouffée(w/crawfish!) or the B+B entrée! Also, you certainly mustn’t sleep on their Peanut Butter Pie for dessert, it’s addicting!! And they give free samples of any of their entrées too, so never be afraid you might not like what you order. Stop in, receive a warm welcome, and treat your palate as you should!”
