“The food is hot and great tasting and I thought I had lost my 2 piece ring set after getting home and when I called the bar tender she was very helpful in helping me try to find it, I later found it at home and called them back and came in the next morning to thank them for helping me try to locate my rings. “Looks like it might be in an old church? In town for one night and took an Uber there. Pulled up at 9 on Wednesday and it was closed. Hours on google said they were open until 10? Just providing a review to update their hours. Maybe they aren’t even open any longer?“

“This place is a great neighborhood bar. I don't think I have ever been in a cleaner place other than my own home. Service always with a smile and after the first visit I have always been welcome. Great place to play pool have a drink or grab a bite.“

“I became a patron for the food and the general atmosphere. Now it’s my go-to to get out of the house. This little gem is Muncie’s best-kept secret. Known for their statue of Paul Bunyan, this bar serves all the usual bears and has a fairly deep liquor shelf. Their food is out of this world. I personally recommend the ribeye sandwich and fried mushrooms.“

“Today was my first visit to this business. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating and a huge menu. Kyle was immediately engaging and friendly. He recommended the daily specials and was even willing to substitute a side item within that chosen special without batting an eye. I ordered a half & half tea and Kyle kept the refills coming.
The lunch special, smoked sausage with potatoes and green beans, was tender and flavorful. Cornbread and macaroni salad were yummy and the tea was tasty. All of the food was great and the service was excellent. Value here is very high. I look forward to my next visit!
Parking: Large well-paved well-marked parking lot
Wheelchair accessibility: Main entryway is a little narrow and could get tricky with a wheelchair, but the outdoor covered seating in the pole barn is exceptionally accessible during warm weather as the large garage doors are elevated. Everything is ground level. No steps.“
“Yes, I would recommend The Chug, every staff member that I have encountered have been easy going and kind, as well as being humorous which help make the experience better. However, Rachel that works Wednesday nights has the worst egotistical attitude. I’ve never met anyone who has intentionally made fun of a customer as well as belittle them. As an owner of The Chug, I would remember to remind your staff about their place as a bartender. They do provide customer service and that comes along with human decency and a kind attitude. Thank goodness the second bartender, (I don’t recall her name, curly haired woman) was there to provide us drinks. She is someone who you should use as a reference when hiring new employees. Thanks for all the good nights prior to this night in particular. I will still go to The Chug in hopes that people like Rachel are not working.“

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was flawless—every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, crafted with care and creativity. Our service was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing—and we were especially touched when the owner came by our table to personally check in. He was so kind and genuinely passionate about his restaurant. It’s rare to find a place that gets every detail right, but this one absolutely does. We’ll definitely be back!“
