“We loved everything! The service, food, atmosphere, drinks, all were just wonderful! Highly recommend the Prohibition and Old Fashioned cocktails, and the meatloaf and salmon patties. We live an hour away but will make plans to be back for sure!“
“We love the Stable. Their Cheeseburger pizza is one of a kind. So good! This time I tried the Chicken fingers with waffle fries. The chicken and fries were really good. We enjoy their beers on tap and love how they change their draft selection so that we can try new local beers. If you are ever in Pendleton on a Monday, stop in if they are playing BINGO. So much fun! They have it 2 x a month I believe.“

“spot on traditional breaded pork tenderloin. pounded thin and double stacked. a thin crispy crust gives a good breading to pork ratio. the grilled tenderloin is thick and moist. we thought it had a light teriyaki sauce which was unexpected but good. best onion rings in Anderson. thick ring of onion with an even crunchy coating without being greasy. fries had a bit of crisp and nice soft potatoey inside. only area they could improve on is the bun fell apart, the tomatoes still had the core, we stunk of smoke even on carry out and everything was in unrecyclable styrofoam.“
“1st time in Scampy's, it's been in Anderson since 1933. Food ways very good, Bread sticks were warm and we got 3 dipping sauces. A suggestion would be to brush the bread sticks with their garlic butter. But they were very good. Pizza was overwhelming with toppings and cheese, So Good!! I will try a pasta next time as the marinara dipping sauce was great. I would have liked more of the sauce on the pizza. We will go back for sure“
“Had to make an appearance for the billiards team to keep score. Not a big fan of this bar in particular... but.... My food, and my teammate's food.... ON POINT. Sherry was attentive, despite the "local" crowd. I appreciate that. Had to go outside to get a breather away from the smoke twice... BUT... I was a smoker once so I can appreciate both sides of that argument. Probably NOT the BEST bar for out of owners, but if you are a low key bunch wanting greasy bar food and a semi competitive game of pool... this would work for you.“
“I personally really enjoyed my first experience here. After turning 21 a week ago, i'm new to the bar scene and was skeptical and intimidated by this very brash and roughneck kind of place. The bartender was amazing with helping me and my friend decide what to get and the drinks were awesome. It seems like everyone here knows everyone and is a regular, so i feel like a stranger in a new land but everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Overall, i enjoy this place and will definitely be back!“
“My friend and I shared a breaded tenderloin. It could be split four ways. It is huge. We ordered it deluxe not realizing that their deluxe has ketchup and mustard added as well. We asked for another setup without the ketchup and mustard to eat our sandwich. They replaced it no problem. We also shared an order of potato skins. I suggest to asked for an extra sour cream packet before you even start, one package is not enough even if you hardly use any.We sat at the bar and got excellent service.“
“It was an OK place, but not someplace I would risk to go back to. A bit more expensive than comparable places. $3 for fries (sandwiches normally come with pretzels), and they weren't hot and were a little soggy after sitting next to my $16 French dip sandwich. We were at district tap on Friday. I would consider these two comparable, but would go to district tap before coming back here.Parking: Typical strip mall parking“
