Taqueria Manjares is a true authentic Mexican food joint. The cuisine is nothing short of exceptional, with impeccable seasoning and freshly prepared salsas bursting with vibrant flavors. The corn tortillas are out of this world, making the tacos amazing. The chicken enchiladas with green sauce are really good with a slight spicy kick, and the carne asada comes with a pretty big grilled pepper. The wet burrito has homemade tortillas and sauce. The restaurant has an intimate ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, and a charming owner. The chef and staff are consummate professionals. The inside is very clean and well decorated, and even with a broken AC it was still cool and comfortable. The server is extremely friendly and patient. One reviewer noted a miscommunication about substitutions caused the woman cooking to yell angry things in Spanish, but the food was so good they would happily be yelled at again. Smells like grandma's kitchen. It is a small place but worth it, with great prices.
