I went there for the first time today, and I was so impressed! The fried chicken is to die for! I lived in Alabama for a long time, and have eaten in almost all of the southern states, and I have to say that this is the best soul food I’ve ever had, and the prices are very reasonable. I can’t recommend Mama and Son enough!
Food and Service are incredible!
I got the 2 piece legs with collards and sweet potatoes and a piece of catfish. The service was amazing and the food was even better! Some of the best chicken I have ever had from a restaurant and it genuinely taste like your mom made it. The sides were amazing and everything was still fresh by the time I got home. They also have some of the best banana pudding with actual bananas. Muncie's hidden gem
