“awesome diner - we stopped at the Tinley location and it's still closed from the last storms in August AND now we are at the Chicago heights location AND we used Groupon Coupon ! It was nice also seeing a Healthspring MEDICARE presentation event gonna start for SENIORS !! We were NOT a part of that BUT come December I will be 😁 We shall be back 👍“

“The food is worth the price. Not only was the food tasty, but the portions were good. In Wisconsin there’s a similar restaurant called Maxfield’s Pancake House that has food of similar quality and portions. If you’re a Wisconsiner who likes Maxfield’s Pancake House and you’re looking for a good meal in Illinois, I highly recommend Skyline!
Likewise, if you’re a Chicago native who regularly eats at Skyline and you’ve wandered up into the Dairy State looking for a good meal, head to your nearest Maxfield’s.“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“I went in and I was greeted immediately and I was able to get a booth by request. The restaurant was also extremely clean.
My server, Melanie, was extremely kind and she constantly checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the appetizer sampler and it was delicious and a great temperature when I received it. I also ordered the lemonade splasher and it was amazing, 10/10 would definitely recommend!“

“Riviera is a great little local diner. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is good. The prices reasonable. I've eaten there dozens of times. It's comforting, familiar and affordable.
I can tell that the staff gets along well and I'd guess that they have been working together for quite some time. They joke with each other and with the regulars. There is a lot of laughter. It creates a pleasant environment in which to sit and eat a hearty meal.
Its not fancy. It's not spectacular. It's just a good little spot with nice employees who care. And I've come to realize that it is surprisingly hard to find places like that. And they should be appreciated.“
