Do you like when your food is so well cooked that you don’t want any sauces to interrupt the art work in front of you? Then I highly recommend Back Deck BBQ. We drove 2 hours to try this place and I would have driven 2 more if I had to. I got the burnt ends platter and I am telling you those burnt ends just melt in your mouth. My fiance got the ribs and wings and those ribs were so tender and flavorful. We sat down to eat and got serenaded by the Pitmaster while he was getting orders together. 10/10 voice 15/10 food.“

They even have a drive through option. I also like knowing the meat is coming from a family farm and the animals are well taken care of. Can't wait for them to cater our wedding!“

“In town for a job from about an hour and a half away. Passed this place on the way to a job site and said we have to try it on our way out. I’m so glad we did. The food was probably some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. The brisket and chicken were 🔥🔥🔥. Every time I come into Louisville I will be back! Customer service was outstanding as well!“

“The owner and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is really clean on the inside. The first time I ordered, I got a rib tip dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. The second time, I only ordered rib tips and one of the staff asked me did I want sides. I told them no because I had sides at home. I let them know that the Mac and cheese was not so great and the owner came out and apologized for that and gave me a free slice of cake to make up. I thought that was really nice of him. He told me that he appreciated my feedback. I still visit every weekend and I get rib tips, greens and potato salad now and a slice of cake but I gotta get it early before it sells out.“
