30 Best Sports Bars near New Albany

“A group of us were in town as we are working at some of the distilleries over the bridge in Louisville. We decided to stop in late Tuesday evening and try some of the bourbon and whiskey the New Albany Tavern has to offer. The bartender Kate was attentive and very knowledgeable about their selections of bourbon. We spent a good bit of time talking with her and the server there about what we were in town for and the different distilleries we have been working at throughout our stay here. Both Kate and the server were very friendly and it was nice to see someone behind the bar that has knowledge about the alcohol they serve. Kate was even able to convince us to try True Story, a newer bourbon that they recently got in

Next time we are in town we will be adding New Albany Tavern to our list of restaurants to come back to. And maybe Kate can offer us some more good bourbon options“

“Just had a wonderful experience, the staff was awesome at explaining everything to us as newbies. Took my husband axe throwing for Father’s Day and we had a blast! The atmosphere was lowkey and unassuming, and the other players were awesome at rooting everyone on despite us all being strangers. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose you’ll be guaranteed to have fun no matter what. The whole setup is so innovative but also very user friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“We loved this bar! We were traveling from MN and wanted to watch the Vikings game. We found the Parlay and loved hanging there long after the game was over. Excellent drinks! And the 3 owners working there were so awesome!“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“Long shots are an excellent place to go if you just got off work or even want to chill on weekends. The atmosphere is relaxed. The bartenders are welcoming and friendly; they come with smiles and familiar faces. Grown vibes, for sure; check it out. You'll love this low-key place for grown vibes! The food is on point, never a miss!! I give them a 5 star.“

“Our barista was super sweet helping us pick some drinks. Customer service is over the moon as she said she would make me something different if I didn’t like my choice. She told me to be adventurous! The spalding was super tasty. Cafe is dog friendly, offers water for humans and dogs and has many places to sit back and study or read.“

“This place gets better and better. Food is great, and the seasoned staff provides friendly, professional service and are at the top of their game. The owners love the community and treat most everyone they know like family. They hire a lot of young guys and gals for their first jobs, so that might explain other critiques themed with inexperience. Overall one of the best pizza joints in this region. Consider supporting this worthwhile local small business.“

“Started with loaded tots. Pretty sure kids ate them before I could even get a sniff of them. I'd say they were good. We really enjoy the grilled fingers tossed in donkey and, of course, fries. I had a side salad, and it was fresh. First time at the rebuilt Roosters. Love the new layout.“

“I had a great time at Applebee’s. The food was tasty and came out hot, and the portion sizes were just right. Our server was friendly and checked on us often without being overbearing. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, perfect for a casual meal. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because the wait time was a little longer than expected, but overall it was a really enjoyable experience. I would definitely come back.“
