“There are not many places around here when you can get a perfect Manhatten and caviar on fresh toast. Wonderful views of the South Quad. You will feel much more intelligent after your visit.Parking: The parking here is terrible, you have to walk miles to get from the visitor parking.“

“When I asked about vegan options I was handed a vegetarian/vegan menu. About half of the items were marked as vegan or ones that could be made vegan. The Mushroom Pate (vegan version) was way nice. The Grilled Fennel Salad (vegan version) was also really yummy. And the Cauliflower was incredibly good. So was the vegan chocolate dessert. “The food is absolutely delicious. We stumbled in one day looking for a good place to eat not far from home and also a place that was locally owned, not a chain. We were pleased to find that the owner is a chef who bought the pub so he could spend more time with family. He is there and does prep and cooking of many made in the kitchen items such as homemade ketchup,pickles,soups and one of the best pork tenderloin sandwiches I've ever had , bluegill fish. Well the list goes on. It kinda has that cheers ambiance. Staff is great and don't be surprised if you see the chef who is delightful. This is definitely a favorite. You should try it . It will be one of your favorites too.“

“Stopped here while I was in town for my best friends wedding last week. The service and atmosphere was excellent. Nice selection of cigars and liquor. I wish I had gotten the waitresses names, but s/o to them for the exceptional service and making sure me and my guys was straight. Will visit again the next time I come back to the area. If you haven't been here, I suggest you give it a try, you won't be disappointed“

“Have been there a half dozen times and their filet mignon is about the best I have ever had. Slightly crunchy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The accompanying sauces are all great as well. Shrimp cocktail are huge and the sauce is a different and better variation. Great wine selections and excellent service any time. Beer can desserts are ridiculously good. I have never had anything here that wasn't great. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. They are known for their "Sword of John Adams'. I have never had it but I have seen people order it and never able to finish it all.“

“A little (word used intentionally) gem of a pun. The landlord stopped for a chat despite the place being packed for the Thursday night local Irish musicians jam. I counted five fiddles, six wind instruments and string instrument I did not recognize and two of the Irish drums held on the left hand. Quite the blast. Only thing that would have improved the place was a decent IPA, but I'm from Seattle so spoiled in that regard.“

“We have visited before and knew we would have to wait on a football weekend. We got seated very promptly at a high top in the bar(we like)! The waitress was sweet and delivered good service. The guys had bison meatloaf and it was very salty. (previously it was really good, so my husband recommended it this visit). I had the fish special and it was cooked perfectly. Other dish was a pasta dish and she loved it. Good flavor. We had a very nice time. Food and service very good and we did not have high expectations being it was ND football weekend. Only reason for 1 rating down was the disappointing meatloaf. So more like 4 1/2 stars!“

“We had our wedding at The Brick and it was the best decision we could have made. The venue is absolutely stunning and even more than that, the service was top-notch. Navarre Catering is the food service and DeAsarae (De) Johnson was the rep we worked with. She was amazing and made the process so much simpler. Our entire wedding was a dream and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. You will not regret working with this venue!“

“Good burgers.. 3 out of 4 visits great people.. . Noon - dinner time visits...I haven't got to know place beyond eating... 1 out of 4 an outspoken, possibly intoxicated female rather loose with her mouth .. although only subjectively perceived as pertaining to my patronage there... (idk, anxiety, distant from delusional paranoia, perhaps) took her loud comments directed towards me (relativeness)What u want me to say, I haven't changed clothes in two weeks (truth),and her outspoken called me out? “I thought I left this place a review already..DO NOT LEAVE BUCHANAN WITHOUT STOPPING HERE! ITS AMAZING!! Forget the great prices and generous portions.. the quality is what will leave you craving more. Everytime I stop in Buchanan I'm usually seduced by the mouthwatering aroma coming from this place. If you're lucky to be in town when they are open you are in for a treat! From the great sirloin burgers they have starters like white cheddar cheese curds and so much more. Definitely a must stop!! I have to add.. from now on I'll not only be stopping in for a drink and a bit but I will be buying food to take home with me as well! Why does this place have less than 5's? Probably some douche yelper thinking they're food critics. They should get the South Park Golden Badge of being the "top yelper" so that they get the special treatment they deserve. I read a review from ones of these people and I do not believe they waited two hours for their food. I've been there on a Saturday when they were jam packed and they're was one bartender, one cook and one server and my food came out super quick, hot and fresh.. and I don't recall ever having to ask for a refill. They were hustling to get peoples orders out, that time and all other times I've been their the service has been excellent and the food is just great bar food.. a Half pound sirloin cheeseburger with fries is only $10.99 and all the started I saw were $7.99.“

“This club has been established long before I was. As a kid I remember lots of people coming here for various reasons (I was only a neighborhood spectator) but when I was 21, De Amicis hosted a battle of the bands, and we were there. Our band didn't win but it was our first public show and so much fun.“

“We were in town for a Notre Dame football game and decided to check out CJ's. We had a great time and CJ's was exactly what we needed. The beer was cold, the prices extremely reasonably. The atmosphere was dope with photos of ex players everywhere. Plenty of tv's to watch other games. The service was good, stuff arrived to the table quickly. Definitely worth checking out if in town.“

“A bit high with the food prices but the taste is amazing, great environment and friendly staff, a bit of trouble sometimes with the system but when I payed with my credit card but minor all in all it's a nice place to take ya girl/boyfriend or just your friends out to go sit and chill at.“

“Local bar, good service. Lots of regulars. Selection of food smaller then other local bars but good. Nothing new or updated about this place but that's not a bad thing. Very casual atmosphere. Several TVs for watching sports. Plenty of seats at the bar, and several tables. No one under 21 allowed. Full bar.“

“My old boss goes there on Tuesdays to play cards as when I'm in the neighborhood usually l stop there to say hello. Great place to relax with many friendly people so just stop there sometime as give the place a look and see what you think !“

“I may have a bit of a love affair with this place. It's truly one of those local, cozy establishments that we're all looking for: perfect lighting, not too big, lots of history, and a memorable experience. The food is excellent, with the burgers being the absolute star of the show. The staff there is super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place is impeccably clean and tidy. It's a regular favorite of mine now, and I can't wait to share it with others. Don't forget, this is a CASH ONLY establishment, but there is an ATM on site if you need it.“
