“Following our practice of not eating at chain restaurants, we used our experience to guide us here because the parking lot was filled with pick up trucks. Greeted by Charlotte, we were offered menus and asked for drink orders. We both ordered chicken and dumplings - one of the specials. We learned that despite the relatively early afternoon time of our visit, we got the last two servings of this comfort food special... that told us it had to be popular with the regulars. I had my plate with mashed potato and gravy, my friend had german potatoes and brown beans ... both described as obviously home made and tasty. For desert, my friend had the peach cobbler ... thought it was a little too sweet for him. I had coconut pie and ate every bite while making yummy noises. Two full meals, two pies, two ice teas with refills was $20! A gem and deserves a visit. Breakfast and lunch only...“

“We scheduled a guided distillery tour and were amazed by the knowledge, process, and passion of the distillers including Justin, our guide, as well as Alan, the Head Distiller who joined us and added even more to our experience. We were so impressed with the start-to-finish process and the explanations that Justin gave throughout the tour. He provided a great amount of detail and science to the distillation process, but kept it understandable for us novices. Justin was great about answering any questions we threw his way and added his own personal experiences to the storytelling that really made it enjoyable and informative. He even asked us about our own tastes and recommended certain spirits at the tasting, which is included. We got more than we paid for and would highly recommend the guided tour!“

“The tasting is SO reasonably priced and the woman assisting us took our wine order and made a case for us which had a decent 16% discount. We decided the atmosphere was so nice that we'd enjoy lunch here. Our friends had the fried ravioli and spaghetti which looked fantastic but the burgers were exceptional and build your own with an option for fried egg and bacon! The surprise factor was the adorable bun stamp which did give the slightly toasted bun not just decadent but fun. Don't let outer appearances steer you away because the inside is so classy but with a relaxed menu. Recommended!!!“
