“Amazing seafood, appetizers and desserts (bread pudding is phenomenal)! A must is having Samantha at Sam’s Food & Spirits as our server. Hands down the best food and service anywhere around! We are so glad we stumbled on this place. The manager Sam came and met us personally as well. The entire experience is worth the drive!“

“Worst place ever I went with my friend and they did not take care of us because we are Latinos we waited 15 minutes and they only brought some chips and then when I was leaving I had to pay 25 dollars for the chips.“

“We stopped at this location on our way home to Lexington KY from Kansas. This was the first time we have eaten at this location but we stop at Bearno's almost every time we visit Louisville. We always order the Super Mama Bearno's special and take it home and eat it for a few days. The pizza at this location was THE BEST one we have ever had! We will be back to this location even if it is a little further out of the way. Alexa B was our server and she was delightful!“

“delicious food, large portions, perfectly prepared. amazing staff.“
“This place was amazing! We stopped in, unannounced. We didn't really have a lot of time to stay. But, Jacqueline was very accommodating and was able to get us in for a very quick tour and we were able to do a hand bottling straight from the barrel! The entire building and history was so very interesting. And the gift shop was great! The entire staff was very friendly, hopeful, and a pleasure to interact with. Thank you to everyone there at Michter's. I can't wait to crack it open!

“Excellent Craft Distiller experience. Not only my go-to Bourbon (Double Oaked), yet after my first tour and surprise visit by Corky Taylor (Owner and Great Grandson of Founder), I have to say, I am very pleased that I visited and got the whole story. Excellent history worth hearing.“

“Had an amazing experience at The Mayan Cafe! Their food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with allergies. The staff was knowledgeable and made sure everything was safe for me. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.“
“Angel's Envy was our favorite distillery in Louisville.
We initially stopped in to get out of the rain, but ended up staying for a couple of hours.
They have super friendly staff and amazing bourbon.
Ask the front desk if you can visit the upstairs bar, and you'll find a private bar with a great view of Slugger Field. The huge wooden tables and ceiling-high rows of bourbon barrels made this spot even more fun to hang out.
10/10 I'd highly recommend making this a stop on your Louisville trip.“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“
“Enjoyed the tour with Bryan. We were met with a black manhattan or an old fashion cocktail before the tour. He was very knowledgeable. He kept the information light and numerous. Sampling 4 different bourbons neat all along the tour was so much better than a tasting at the end.“

“This was our first time here at this Distillery and it did not disappoint. We thought it was going to be a huge Distillery but turns out it's actually a micro Distillery but they have a lot of Rick houses and they store whiskey for a lot of other brands. Was very informative with a lot of good history at these grounds“

“Had a great time on what ended up being a private tour for my wife and I since no one else signed up. I'd give it 5 stars if this were Yelp. Really interesting story on their more recent challenges and how they have thrived/survived. They have some great whiskeys to try and some of their unique finished stuff is incredible. If I had one complaint, it would be the plastic tasting cups.“

“Interesting distillery tour covering the Bourbon-making history of Louisville, the distillation process and concluding with a tasting flight of Evan Williams bourbon. Shout out to our tour host Mark (knowledgeable, amusing and friendly fellow).“

“Louisville staple! Delicious fish and fries. The fish is thick and not too much breading. Definitely get your moneys worth! Don’t forget to get the onions on your sandwich. So good! Look forward to it every year on Saturdays. Make sure you get there before they run out!!“

“I went to the famous Hot Brown which did not disappoint. My server suggested fried egg on top which was spot on. I got petite size which was huge. It is extremely rich in sauce and gooey cheese. You will need nap after...do not eat before a big day of walking, touring, etc“

“I love Wild Eggs and my go to server at the Jeffersonville location! Sadly, I was disappointed for the first time today due to the lack of cleanliness of the booth we were seated at. There are A LOT of old food pieces and crumbs all around the seat between the vinyl and wood. Even our host noticed it and attempted to clean up with a well-used bar mop towel. Needless to say, I immediately washed my legs and changed shorts when I got home after sitting on all that. These restaurants need to stop cutting servers and igniting safe sanitation practices to save a buck! Pay your team a true wage to clean. Thank you!“

“20 years at the playhouse and tonight’s dinner was the worst! The sides were half cooked and not the usual The salad bar was depleted and the choices were wilted looking like leftovers. The salad bar looked like the scene of a food fight. Gross! How is in charge now? Great fried chicken and fish as usual. So disappointing“

“As an airline pilot who's traveled across the US and internationally to a lot of cities, I’ve eaten at many restaurants, and Addis Grill in Louisville has become one of my favorites! It’s centrally located downtown at 109 S 4th Street, right between the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Galt House Hotel. It’s an easy, short walk from the Galt House and other nearby hotels like the Hyatt Regency, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Aloft Louisville Downtown, and Courtyard —super convenient when you’re staying in the area. The family-run environment is always welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. My personal favorite is the Lamb Kebab Special—perfectly grilled, flavorful, and seasoned just right, but they have many other excellent options. It’s been outstanding every visit, and I always stop by when I’m back in town! If you’re downtown, do yourself a favor and stop in. Highly recommend—easily 5 stars! Thanks for the amazing meals, Addis Grill team! 🍽️✈️“

“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“
