“Amazing seafood, appetizers and desserts (bread pudding is phenomenal)! A must is having Samantha at Sam’s Food & Spirits as our server. Hands down the best food and service anywhere around! We are so glad we stumbled on this place. The manager Sam came and met us personally as well. The entire experience is worth the drive!“

“Worst place ever I went with my friend and they did not take care of us because we are Latinos we waited 15 minutes and they only brought some chips and then when I was leaving I had to pay 25 dollars for the chips.“

“We stopped at this location on our way home to Lexington KY from Kansas. This was the first time we have eaten at this location but we stop at Bearno's almost every time we visit Louisville. We always order the Super Mama Bearno's special and take it home and eat it for a few days. The pizza at this location was THE BEST one we have ever had! We will be back to this location even if it is a little further out of the way. Alexa B was our server and she was delightful!“

“Ryan did a great job showcasing the history and distilling philosophy of Michter’s. I highly recommend stopping by Michter’s Fort Nelson location in downtown Louisville. Bonus points for knowing more about my palette preferences than I did. You are a scholar and a gentleman sir. A gine fit for Michter’s in my humble estimation.“

“Had an amazing experience at The Mayan Cafe! Their food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with allergies. The staff was knowledgeable and made sure everything was safe for me. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.“

“We were in town for the Zach Bryan concert at L&N stadium. This little gem is just down the street. Gyros were delish and loved the sauce! Fries were hot and fresh! Staff so welcoming and friendly. We will be back next time we are in Louisville!“
“My husband and I actually came here on a whim because we had some time to kill in between another distillery tour and our dinner reservation on Valentine's Day. We got into the last tasting with a pretty large group. The host was awesome. We got to meet the owner which was pretty cool. But the tasting was amazing, honestly. My husband and I are both bourbon drinkers, we've tried quite a bit of bourbon and been to many distilleries. We couldn't believe we've been sleeping on Peerless! Hands down some of the best bourbon we've ever had and each pour was excellent. We're converts for sure!!“
“Beautiful place full of delicious bourbon! As fans of Angels Envy bourbon we had to visit the distillery when in town and we were not disappointed. The whole place is amazing and our signature tour, with absolutely amazing tour guide, Paula, was fantastic! She was so informative and full of knowledge about Angels Envy from its humble beginnings, plus she was down to earth, friendly, and funny! The finish in the tasting room was a phenomenal end to a super fun experience! If you're in town, take the tour. If you aren't an Angel's Envy bourbon fan when you get there you will be when you leave!“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“

“Sean was amazing. He knew his facts! His delivery was warm and the pace was great. We are locals and have been to many distillery tours. We loved the history of the distillery and the connections with Kentucky. Our favorite was the original Cooper Shop...how very special to take the time to retain the actual building! Tip: Go early and visit the front of the main building...full of historical pictures and artifacts.“

“Had a great time on what ended up being a private tour for my wife and I since no one else signed up. I'd give it 5 stars if this were Yelp. Really interesting story on their more recent challenges and how they have thrived/survived. They have some great whiskeys to try and some of their unique finished stuff is incredible. If I had one complaint, it would be the plastic tasting cups.“

“We stopped for brunch on our way through town, we wanted to see the historic Brown Hotel. There was a variety of foods offered on the buffet, including a made-to-order omelette station. My husband ordered the Hot Brown and we both thought that was very good. We had vodka bloody Mary's that were topped with house made picketed vegetables; they were perfect. Our service was excellent as well.“

“20 years at the playhouse and tonight’s dinner was the worst! The sides were half cooked and not the usual The salad bar was depleted and the choices were wilted looking like leftovers. The salad bar looked like the scene of a food fight. Gross! How is in charge now? Great fried chicken and fish as usual. So disappointing“

“I love Wild Eggs and my go to server at the Jeffersonville location! Sadly, I was disappointed for the first time today due to the lack of cleanliness of the booth we were seated at. There are A LOT of old food pieces and crumbs all around the seat between the vinyl and wood. Even our host noticed it and attempted to clean up with a well-used bar mop towel. Needless to say, I immediately washed my legs and changed shorts when I got home after sitting on all that. These restaurants need to stop cutting servers and igniting safe sanitation practices to save a buck! Pay your team a true wage to clean. Thank you!“

“We came to Porch today and had such a lovely experience. I’ve been dreaming about their cinnamon roll for a year, and when I mentioned it to the manager, - Kyra - she kindly surprised me by offering it on the house — such a thoughtful gesture that honestly brought tears to my eyes.
The cornbread was delicious, and everything we tried was really good. Our server was so sweet and kind, which made the experience even more special.
The seating, the sunshine, the overall vibe — everything felt just right. Feeling very grateful to have been here. Highly recommend!“

“The veggie combo deal is a great value, generous portions that are perfect for sharing, fresh flavors, and a nice variety. One combo easily serves two people, making it ideal to bring a friend. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, and the deal makes it even better. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a filling, vegan-friendly option.“

“As an airline pilot who's traveled across the US and internationally to a lot of cities, I’ve eaten at many restaurants, and Addis Grill in Louisville has become one of my favorites! It’s centrally located downtown at 109 S 4th Street, right between the Kentucky International Convention Center and the Galt House Hotel. It’s an easy, short walk from the Galt House and other nearby hotels like the Hyatt Regency, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Aloft Louisville Downtown, and Courtyard —super convenient when you’re staying in the area. The family-run environment is always welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. My personal favorite is the Lamb Kebab Special—perfectly grilled, flavorful, and seasoned just right, but they have many other excellent options. It’s been outstanding every visit, and I always stop by when I’m back in town! If you’re downtown, do yourself a favor and stop in. Highly recommend—easily 5 stars! Thanks for the amazing meals, Addis Grill team! 🍽️✈️“

“My wife and I stopped in today and this place is GREAT! The food was delicious…the sushi, the sliders, the pork chashu, Mexican fried rice, seafood rice, and the cheesecake. You can’t go wrong. Not only is the food amazing, but the service was amazing too. 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be back.“
“Nicest folks. I didn't do tour, just wanted to get something exclusive and the ladies knew their business. Small free samples of what I wanted to purchase as well; other places seemingly charge you..on top of $50-$500 bottles? Great job, can't wait to go back!“

“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“
