Restaurantji's Plymouth picks for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“Stop in here every few weeks with some friends from work. The service is always great, the food is delicious, and the margaritas really hit the spot! They have large tables if you are dining with a group and a bar. Definitely worth checking out!Kid-friendliness: Would be a good place to take the family.“
“I love food! But more than loving food, I love finding meals where I say, “That’s the BEST I’ve ever had!” I’ve found the best Key lime Pie, the most amazing Chicago-style hotdog, and now – the most incredible burrito I’ve ever tasted. Santiagos Taqueria is a food truck located in Plymouth, Indiana and it is truly a hidden gem! There may be a restaurant to come – but why wait? The menu includes Tacos, Burritos, Quesadilla, Tortas, Nachos, and Carne Asada fries – there are some off-menu items like salads (be sure to ask), and there are side items too – but what you are going to want to order, in my humble opinion, is the Brisket Burrito! Where to begin? The brisket is cooked on-site and marinated until it falls apart at the touch of a fork. The burrito is absolutely outstanding and, again, the best I’ve ever tasted! You might be thinking, “Yeah, but from a food truck?” Trust me on this. You Will Not Be Disappointed! The owners are passionate about cooking, and it shows! Currently, Santiagos Taqueria is open only on weekends, so check the hours before you make the drive. When you get there, tell them Mike sent you!“
“We went here for the first time for a family dinner. The other Mexican style restaurants in town have gone way down hill as far as quality and service. We were glad that we tried this place. I tried the shrimp tacos and they were great. The service was very fast and the wait staff is right on top of anything you need. The prices are great. If you haven’t tried this place yet, and you like Mexican food, go! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Stopped for lunch and was impressed! Ordered the wet burrito and it was really good. Chips were thin, fresh and crispy. Service was excellent! The bathroom was very clean and well kept. Only thing that could be better was the salsa with the chips. Pureed too fine, it was more like tomato sauce than salsa. Very good Mexican restaurant.“
“Been through the drive thru several times here. Service is usually quick and food is always predictable and tasty. Sometimes they have some weird things happen though. For example, last time when I pulled around they could only take cards or exact change if you paid cash. ??♀️“
“I know where to go for good food when I'm in the area. The whole family was impressed. The food, service, and clean place to eat. Highly recommend.Parking: This place is pretty popular. Sometimes, there is minimal parking left.Kid-friendliness: Very age appropriate for the whole family.“
“I just moved here from Arizona and have been looking for a good Mexican food joint. I have been to a few in the area and none were that good, I came here this morning and got two bacon breakfast burritos. The food here literally brought me back to AZ and the authentic Mexican food I grew up eating. They also make menudo on the weekends which I am very excited for! Definitely great food! Will be returning! 10/10“
