“Very nice atmosphere, friendly waitress, I had the enchilada suiza, which was delicious, great flavor. Ribeye and shrimp was very flavorful. Steak fajita was flavored well too. This was my first time here, this will become a regular.”

“My wife and I stopped in at an off time between lunch and dinner (2:25). We were the only ones in the place, which was fine but a shame as the door was really good. Our server, Piper, was attentive and the food came out fast, hot and tasty. We split the cheese curds and fried pickle appetizer. It was dipped in a light and fluffy beer batter and was delicious. We the split the hot honey chicken sandwich and thought that was perfect. Crispy, light and moist. Definitely recommend it and this place. Happy hour starts at 3, just missed it.”

“Stayed in Portage after visiting the Indiana Dunes. Ordered pizza to the hotel. Driver delivered directly to the room, the pizza was AMAZING! We also got the cherry dessert pizza which was the single best dessert pizza I’ve ever had (think warm gooey cherry cheesecake pizza)”

“I typically do not post food reviews on these pages, but my visit to Depot Hot Dogs was exceptional. Last night, I sampled their newest menu item, Loaded Bacon and Cheese Fries, which were remarkable. The fries were cooked to perfection, with an ideal balance of ranch and cheese, accompanied by outstanding bacon. I appreciate the family-run aspect of the business. For authentic Chicago flavors, including beef hot dogs and Italian Beefs, Depot Hot Dogs is a recommended destination. They also offer items for dogs. Their support for the Humane Society is commendable, demonstrating consideration for both customers and their pets. While new menu items are available, their exceptional bacon cheese fries stand out. “This restaurant was awesome. We walked in w a whole soccer team and parents and was accommodated. The owner and staff were very attentive and the food was amazing. The prices were very low for the quality and quantity of food you receive. It is all around a great value.”

“Pretty good treats. They have some interesting flavors. Their proportions are larger for the price when compared to Dairy Queen. The drive through exit is awful though. It's almost impossible to not hit the curb and scratch your rims if you're in an SUV or a truck. If they could knock down that curb (which is totally unnecessary anyways), this would get five stars.”

“My family and I love JJ's! And if you haven't tried their version of stuffed crust pizza...it.is.a.MUST! We usually get a sausage and pepperoni stuffed crust and the whole pizza comes with a layer of crust on top! Not a thick layer, just enough to 'stuff' the pizza with delicious ingredients. They have pretty good mild/hot wings and they staff is always courteous. They messed up our order one time and we had driven to pick it up and didn't notice the mistake until we got home. We called them and they offered to deliver our order to us, no charge!”

“I called to make sure they would be open on a Sunday at 730 pm . the recording said open until 10pm and so did the facebook page. I load up my clubs with a few others to play. We get there and its closed. What a waste of time and my fuel. This is the second time having this happen at this place . I definitely can't wait until the other one opens in chesterton. I can only hope they are open the hours they state they are .So more time effort and money isn't wasted like I have had happen to me. I sure won't be waisting my time here anytime soon.”

Will try Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken with Chicken Rice Soup if we go back.

“Pretty typical Firehouse Subs. If you are in a hurry call ahead. Everyone except me ordered ahead. I had a 15 minute wait. If I wasn't on my way to work it wouldn't have mattered. The quality of ingredients they use is good and the sandwiches were filling ( 1 for nightshift breakfast and 1 for lunch).”

“The breakfast selection is enormous and you receive a lot of food for a low price! Many people don't realize that there is a lunch menu and also a dinner menu. I don't know how this restaurant can supply large portions at a good price. They have an all-you-can eat fish dinner on Friday's and they have extended hours until 8pm on Friday and Saturday. We are going to try the Rib special tonigh! P.S. Great waitresses and staff!”
