“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“A childhood memory in Chicago! I brought my husband to experience Gayetys. The charm when we walked in and then the SMELL OF YUMMY CHOCOLATE was a Zen moment!!! We toured the counters then dived into purchases! We had no time for ice cream but we will be back. We did have a piece of chocolate each at home ohhhhh yum. I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.“

“I was going there for a couple years on the first opened when I was a school bus driver. then after I left the school bus company and we moved out to part forest it wasn't close for me anymore. I tried one in Chicago heights. it was not nearly as good as this one's ice cream. it's fantastic friendly people. I loved it. I missed it. I went back today and it was still great. I always got pistachio and the chocolate abuelita together. great taste! great place“

“So I love their ice cream. If I was rating the ice cream it would be five stars. But if you get ice cream do not get it strawberry flavored or flavored anything. The flavoring in the strawberry ice cream is horrendous. Worst artificial flavor ever. Stick to vanilla and chocolate coated 😆“

“Great place to come to get a good dessert and more. I got myself a cone and I told them I wanted it to be big like the John Hancock Building and they did great. I also got myself a polish beef because I saw they had Vienna Beef products. I enjoyed my items that I purchased. Next time I will try a sundae but as you can see they have such a wide selection of items.“

We have a family of 6, and upon arrival, we were personally greeted immediately by what I believe was the GM of the establishment, who wZ pleasantly friendly! The cleanliness of the restaurant was immaculate. The environment and atmosphere was superb. They were patient as we decided what to order. They have great deals and, for a family of 6, each one of us ordered lunch and dessert for about $30! We decided to dine-in, and the service was so fast, that we were personally handed some items before we even sat down! Upon seating, they had brought all of our items to us personally, only about 1 minute after having sat down! It was incredible service. The food and desserts were delicious! The best burger we had in a long time! My sons loved the new confetti dipped cone, and a classic vanilla shake. My husband and I enjoyed our blizzards, and my daughters loved the real strawberries in their strawberry sundaes! “I live 5 minutes away and this location never fails at being amazing. They're always quick, friendly, and by far make the best blizzards. A lot of other locations I have been too over the years have given runny blizzards or don't stir the items and half the blizzard is just ice cream. This is my favorite location and I appreciate everything about this location.“

Tried to put on online order in at 7:30 and it wouldn't go thru, so I drove to the place at 7:45 and they said they were closed. I told them it says they are open until 8pm online, and they said yes that's true. Sooooo, how can you be open, but your grill is closed. Doesnt make sense, just adjust the hours to 7:30 so you don't waste people's time.“

“We had ice cream on wheels out for our employee appreciation event and everything was great! The driver arrived 10 mins early to get in position and started serving immediately after opening the window. The driver was professional and courteous. “We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
