“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“A childhood memory in Chicago! I brought my husband to experience Gayetys. The charm when we walked in and then the SMELL OF YUMMY CHOCOLATE was a Zen moment!!! We toured the counters then dived into purchases! We had no time for ice cream but we will be back. We did have a piece of chocolate each at home ohhhhh yum. I had the taffy apple for dessert it was like no other. This is a must to visit.“

“I live 5 minutes away and this location never fails at being amazing. They're always quick, friendly, and by far make the best blizzards. A lot of other locations I have been too over the years have given runny blizzards or don't stir the items and half the blizzard is just ice cream. This is my favorite location and I appreciate everything about this location.“

“I was traveling through Crown Point and was blessed to have parked across the street from here. From the moment I walked in to the moment I started my 5 hour drive back home I was greatly impressed. “This is the best Dairy Queen around. Friendly staff with fast service and no screwed up orders. Everything here is 20-40% cheaper than the St John and Schererville locations. A box of 6 dilly bars cost $8.99 in Dyer. A box of dilly bars in St. John cost $17.99 and $16.99 in Schererville. The Schererville store ice cream quality is terrible, the blizzards are watery every time ive been there and ive been there around 20 times“

“Quick & kind service, great tasting boba & poke bowl. I’d recommend half sugar unless you like a really sugary drink! And plenty of tapioca boba—you don’t have to ask for extra like some other places!“

“Okay- RUN to Tastee Top. Stop what you’re doing and go. Right now. I literally just ate the best taco I have ever had in my life (I’m from Houston and I have had lots and lots of tacos.) The taco with steak was INCREDIBLE. My husband had a gyro and the meat was soo tender and delicious. My toddler inhaled his cheeseburger. Portion size is wonderful for the price. We ended the date with a frosted animal cookie shake and a brownie al la mode. 10/10 would recommend! I should also note how sweet the staff are. They are all smiles and super helpful. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻“

There was a woman with her daughter that kept arguing with the managers about returning a blizzard that was purchase the day before and got upset when the girls said that they have a same day policy. They still kept the line going, but honestly that exchange put a sour taste in my mouth. Literally why are you trying to return ice cream the next day? Anyways the ice cream was pretty good, but the workers don’t seem respected at all.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
