The kitties are all so precious, and you can tell that they are very well loved and taken care of as they wait for their furever homes. Applications for the cats are very thorough, and they make sure that the adoptive parents are the purrfect matches. “We were a group of 9; 6 adults & 3 children looking for a more sit-down place to eat when the owner talked us into staying telling us we would not be disappointed, and we were not. Their menu had a huge variety of food to choose from, and all of us thought the food was great! I had French toast, hash browns & sausage. My husband had an awesome shrimp omlette that had more shrimp on it than anywhere else we have ever eaten that put shrimp in its breakfast. And even thought it was all packagesd as take out, there were three tables available to sit and eat. It worked for us! Great job S&G! It's a well-earned 5 star review!“

“This is an unassuming little place, but the coffee and pastries are really tasty. And what makes the place is the staff, which is SOOOO nice! Its my favorite place for mid-bike-ride pause from Chicago.

“What an awesome place, every shake sounds like it would be delicious I can't wait to try them all. Their location is kind of obscure but very convenient it is right off of 173rd just west of Calumet. Directly across the street from Terry's aquarium and Walgreens. All of their shakes have natural ingredients and natural sweeteners and they use Herbalife protein powders and vitamin supplements.

“The staff is nice and friendly. The food is VERY good!!! I was a student at IUN many years ago and the food in the cafe did not taste as good as it does now. Maybe they have a different management/owner. It is pricey but food costs have gone up and they are paying to rent the facility and pay their employees so it is to be expected. It is a very convenient asset on the campus. I will definitely frequent this establishment.

“We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Jordan and Nicole were so welcoming. They helped make suggestions on coffee and tea. The drinks were very well made and Jordan asked if we would like the banana bread we bought warmed up. Such nice personal touches in the coffee shop. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.
