“We really like coming here and will continue however I have noticed that the tables are not wipe down from employees regularly just watch everyone’s reaction when it’s sticky on there tables i seriously got a large amount of a sticky arm I did not see it there and asked if they could wet a napkin for me the water fountain is turned off the manager had a short get together with the girls shaking his head no , they offered a cup of water, thank you I love my wife she wiped the other tables also I’m sure this was a health risk to ask for a wet towel and I apologized“

“I have always loved the vibe, homey feel when making the decision to have a meal at Cracker Barrel. I can see some are noting the Sellersburg store has not changed its decor is not correct. The old timer decor has been removed and replaced with new modern pictures. It is not the same. The store section is the same, still good choice of foods. Love the chicken fired chicken. Portions seem to be getting smaller. Service was not like I have had in the past. And that’s not a good thing.“

Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. “We used The Copper Room at Orange Clover for a baby shower for a first time momma to be. I just cannot find the words for how wonderful the experience was. First off, the staff, absolutely phenomenal. Every single person I talked to (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, my memory is lacking currently) was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. Second, the food was perfect and delicious. Third, the room itself was everything I hoped it would be and more. “We went here Saturday night visiting from Nashville. Seemed like the best views. We sat at the bar and Sam served us. He was fantastic. The crab tartar was ok. I hit the jackpot with expert bartender CC, who took my request for a custom whiskey flight as a challenge and knocked it out of the park with three choices setup in the perfect order. She knew the story behind each one and quickly looked up some additional details on her phone when she wasn't sure. The bar is clean and spacious and full of light. Whiskies are arranged by family for easy identification. She described a "Black Manhattan" that sounded delicious, but I'll have to try that next time. Proof on Main makes the perfect place to treat your taste buds while waiting for a distillery tour. Slainte!“

“We had my daughter‘s bridal shower at this restaurant and let me tell you everything about it was spectacular: the view, the food, the service, parking and accessibility, cleanliness. Julie, the event manager, took care of everything exactly as I wanted it without needing to be reminded of how we wanted the private room to be set up. The servers attended to our needs constantly and were very professional. The food was even better than expected, The restrooms were clean and of course the views were spectacular watching the ships come and go. Truly a wonderful experience.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“Saw the picture of the chicken wings on Facebook and they looked like Grannies use to so I decided to stop by and get an order of them and I was not disappointed. They were hot seasoned and delicious, just like Grannies were back in the day. Now I know that I have a place to go to get some good food cooked to order hot and fresh at a fair price right off the Shawnee Expressway.

They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! “Despite the other reviews, posting this out of my ordering experience (POV, ordered around 8, almost 8:30pm ish).

There's not much staff out since its not very active is my guess. Though once someone was finally able to come, I was treated very fairly. You go to the hostess stand to order actual food (10-20 a person depending on what you get, the pasta I ordered was actually 30 bucks) on a menu given. It's mostly burgers, fried food, pizza, pasta, that kind of thing. Kids menu too!

They unfortunately didn't have change for my 100 at the tether, but the hostess was very determined to be able to help and ran around to get it, bless her heart. Wish I got her name.

All in all, as someone who has worked in the food business, very great vibes that they're doing their best for having so little staff. Keep it up!

Kid-friendliness: Has a whole kids menu. Chicken tenders and kids cheese pizza off the top of my head. Also sodas to differ from the actual bar. Root beer, coke (I think), lemonade, etc.“

“We’ve been dragging our feet about going to Decade for dinner. Why? Who knows, but that’s been a mistake. We had a fantastic dinner with friends and will definitely go back. The food was great. Cocktails were good, but a tad on the small side (so we had 2). As for the food, we started with (and shared) the mixed greens salad, stone fruit salad, and the arancini. Delicious all around! For dinner we each got something different, blue crab bucatini for me (outstanding), halibut (he loved the squid ink couscous), beef with pappardelle (raves, especially about the pasta), and the burger (loved). It gets loud in there b/c of the brick walls, but it’s a good vibe. We’ll be back!“

Our server, Natalie did a wonderful job, with prompt, friendly care that was timed just right without being bothersome. Larry's brisket and side salad were delicious and filling. My hot brown was yummy, with ample fresh-tasting turkey and a wonderful sauce that pulled the other ingredients together. Of course, I took half of it home. “Mellwood Tavern is a treasure. Great food and drinks and the best staff in town. The fried chicken and sides they serve on Tuesdays and Thursdays are second to none. Live music is always great and they have the friendliest patrons you’ll find anywhere. It’s a really special place and we’re lucky to have them in the ‘Ville!“

“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“

“We decided to try out the restaurant and I am so very happy we did. The mood is very relaxed and comfortable with large comfy chairs and even areas with couches for seating. Our server, Adam, was truly amazing and made us feel welcome and like a priority. We had a couple of the specialty cocktails and they were divine. The addition of the monogrammed large ice cubes was a great touch. The bread. The bread comes to the table with a tallow candle and lemon juice on the plate. It was truly delicious. All of us raved about our meals. The topper was dessert. The manager, Tim, let us know that the last piece of our first choice was not up to their standards. This is amazing. I love that the restaurant is keeping their food standards so high. Our second choice was still remarkable. This is definitely on my list for anyone wanting a great experience from food to ambiance to service.“
