“Our favorite. Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and terrific service. Leeann's presence added to our enjoyment of two birthday celebrations. Just the right interaction. Answered all our questions about the menu, made suggestions when asked, helped us choose the perfect wine.”

“The food was delicious of course but what made this evening memorable was the fact that the dishes themselves were interesting. For example instead of using yogurt in the dessert course they use lobna instead of a traditional yogurt. It made for a tart finish and incredibly friendly. I love the open kitchen concept to be able to watch the chefs. We will go again. Dinner for two came out to $210. It seems the restaurant could accommodate large parties if given enough notice and it would be a beautiful facility for a small reception or after party.”

“C’est La Vie absolutely outdid themselves! As a wedding Planner / coordinator, I’ve tasted a lot of wedding desserts, and this was a top-notch experience. The cupcakes and mini desserts were bursting with flavor, perfectly soft but not crumbly, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, and they added such a special touch to the celebration. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“Good atmosphere, good food. Nashville Hot Tenders has perfect amount of breading and the sauce was outstanding. Soft pretzel sticks were baked to perfection, wonderful beer cheese and spicy mustard. Service was outstanding! Will definitely make a return trip.”

“I would recommend Ironhand for some events but I don’t think they plan for some things. We went to their brunch and bingo this morning which was nice. The food was good and we always love the atmosphere. I was really looking forward to trying the flight of mimosas. It started at 10, we arrived at 10:15 and by 10:25 they told us they were out of flights. There were still at least 5 tables and more bar seats open. Then 20 minutes later we saw people getting mimosa flights. I ended up ordering the mimosa bar which was too much champagne for me and they gave a very small carafe of orange juice. (Barely enough for 2-3 drinks) If you are having a brunch you should plan accordingly. I will be back but I hope things like this get figured out.”

“This place is incredible! We had them come out to our facility for our staff meeting. The smell alone was enough to pull me in. The tacos were amazing. The meat was so flavorful and tender, and the tortillas were fresh and soft. They even pile on the toppings like onions and cilantro, and the salsa they provide is delicious—the red one has a real kick! The portions are huge, and the prices are super reasonable. The family running the truck is amazing, incredibly friendly and fast with the service.I'm already planning my next visit.”

“My family traveled from Chicago to South Bend this weekend to pick up our service dog for my 5 year-old Autistic son. While the experience was amazing, my son struggled a bit with the trip, as he is very much a person of habit! He woke up Sunday morning asking for a cheeseburger. We scrambled to figure out where we could possibly get a cheeseburger at 8am, and we were excited to see a Burger King near our hotel. We packed up 4 kids and a service dog and headed over. We were quickly and kindly informed that lunch was not served until 11. I told the cashier I had an autistic kiddo in desperate need of a cheeseburger, and asked if she knew anywhere in the area I could get one. Another employee heard my situation and with no hesitation, swooped in said she will make him a cheeseburger. This woman went completely out of her way to help my son. She had a burger cooked and ready to go in minutes. She refused my money as I went to pay for it. When I thanked her profusely, she put her hand over her heart and told me so sincerely, “She understands”. Thank you to this wonderful woman for her kindness and compassion!”

The rib tips here are incredible and they have that cooked in your back yard like your momma used to taste and texture to them. The prices are also reasonable and the people who work there are very efficient and kind, especially the gentleman who handed me and presumably prepared my food. The sauce which they put on EVERYTHING while a bit on the runnier side still had good flavor. All in all I highly recommend this little spot.”

“Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.”

“One of my friends was having a poor reaction to the alcohol, a mixture of the fact she’s mildly allergic and the medication she was on really did not agree with her. And the workers were SWEETHEARTS. Even before our friend started reacting, the service was 12/10. Very friendly and respectful. Some of our friends took our sick friend outside for some air and two of us stayed to pay, and the service workers asked us if our friends took was okay and even gave us two waters to-go when we explained the situation. I sincerely regret not tipping 15% in my rush to get everything paid for so we could leave. Will be coming back because they were so nice and helpful and tipping way more.

“Love the Bucket!!! BUT, did have an unpleasant experience for the first time in our many visits. 11:00 in the morning it took multiple conversations with staff to get the outdoor music turned down. Other customers also felt the music for that time of day was inappropriate. We are music enthusiasts, But sometimes it’s pleasant to enjoy a meal and cocktail with audible conversation. We will continue to frequent The Bucket and also request music at a reasonable decibel so we can converse comfortably. Thanks”
