First, this is NOT an appropriate place for kids, and you'll be asked to leave if you bring them, this is an old style BAR. Adults only.

My burger was delicious and the staff was friendly! Sorry I started eating it first. Greasy and great! Full of beef and gluten.

If you love nostalgia and don't mind the smell of old smoke and a hint of pee, scratched paint and air vents hanging from straps, you'll love this place. It's like going back to the 60s or 70s!

Be sure to enjoy the vintage Popeye sign from the 50's advertising a hamburger for 10¢!

If not you probably should avoid it.

This place leans into letting people self-select to not be here. But in my opinion that just means it has an unapologetic personality.

I am NOT recommending this place for the sub 40 crowd, you probably won't like it and the regular won't feel bad about that. If you don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone in a big way, try it. If not they won't miss you.“

“I walked north from St. Mary’s College and this place was the busiest. Plenty of employees so the service was pretty fast. Good selection. I ordered the gyro platter and found it good tasting and plenty of food. Dining room was clean. On my walk back, it was still the busiest restaurant.“

“I would've eaten in the restaurant if the clientele hadn't been staring at me. I don't think that they are used to seeing a white Cuban with an Asian. Especially when the white Cuban has a genetic disorder that affects the weight.

Vegetarian options: Can't read the menu because there really isn't one and it would be in Spanish if it was. It would be helpful if they had an English version of their menu.

Dietary restrictions: Mexican, Hispanic, Latino foods aren't friendly towards corn allergies or sensitivities. I do wish they had more corn free options, but I won't hold my breath for that to happen.“

“I visited this bar to do Emo Night Karaoke and I had a good time. Corey and Jess were great bartenders. The bar was busy but not cramped or uncomfortable. Diverse crowd of all ages. There was plenty of seating indoor and out. The sound was great for the show. I'd visit this bar again.“

“This place is incredible! We had them come out to our facility for our staff meeting. The smell alone was enough to pull me in. The tacos were amazing. The meat was so flavorful and tender, and the tortillas were fresh and soft. They even pile on the toppings like onions and cilantro, and the salsa they provide is delicious—the red one has a real kick! The portions are huge, and the prices are super reasonable. The family running the truck is amazing, incredibly friendly and fast with the service.I'm already planning my next visit.“

“Seems like a popular spot, lots of cars and people popping in to pick up orders. We sat right down and 3 of us ordered (one order just being a Mickey Mouse pancake, one an omelet with a pancake, and one skillet with a pancake) but it seemed like it took FOREVER for our food to come out. We waited well over 45 minutes. The food was good and well priced, the waitress was friendly. There were lots of options. Would have liked to try other things from the menu eventually but don't have time to waste sitting there like that. Not sure if it always takes that long as this was our 1st time going there. Probably will not be returning.“

“Ordered pizza through the Slice app. Ordered pepperoni and jalapeño. It was on time. The delivery person put the pizza on the porch…the cement…while it was raining. We did not choose contactless delivery. Open the pizza box and immediately tell it’s incorrect. It’s made with pepperoncini and not jalapeño. I call the store. No one answers. I try again and nothing. Contact Slice. They called the store and the store advised that the pizza was made correct. I assure the Slice person it is not. Sent them a picture of the incorrect pizza. Got 20% back. So ruined dinner and got back around $5. This sucks. No more Bruno’s for us.“

“Absolutely amazing. It has been a long time since I've been able to find another restaurant that has authentic offerings aside from the standard American dishes. I ordered the garlic cabbage and 3-cup chicken. The chicken dish was new to me and it was fantastic -- full of flavor and the sauce is great over rice. Will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying more of the offerings.“
