“**El Globo Bakery Review**I recently visited El Globo Bakery in Indiana Speedway, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The pan francés, which I've had on multiple occasions, consistently tastes old and lacks the freshness you'd expect from a bakery. It's quite disappointing to see no improvement in this aspect.Moreover, I noticed that the staff making the bread do not use gloves or hats to cover their hair. This lack of basic hygiene practices is concerning and definitely something that needs to be addressed. A bakery should prioritize cleanliness and food safety, and El Globo Bakery falls short in this regard.To make matters worse, the cashiers were quite rude during my visit. Friendly customer service is crucial for a pleasant experience, and the attitude of the staff left much to be desired.Overall, while the bakery has potential, these issues with freshness, hygiene, and customer service significantly detract from the overall experience. I hope they make the necessary changes to improve.“

“This place was the most amazing Starbucks I’ve been to in a long time. The woman gave me my money back for my drink because none of my E gift cards are working and then gave me half price on my straw toppers because I’ve been trying to collect them for my daughters for Christmas. All they want is the star one unfortunately I haven’t got it yet, but I’ve got multiples of every other one like 3 to 4 of every every other straw topper that’s in the collection so I’m hoping to find more.

Parking: Free parking lot valet parking just like everywhere you go a little busier than normal because the holidays.

The interior looks nice, but this doesn’t really seem like a coffee shop meant for spending a lot of time in. There wasn’t much seating I could see, so this is definitely more of a takeout spot. “We recommend Salt on Mass for its incredible consistency. The experience is always welcoming and forever delicious. My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. We grabbed seats at the bar last night, where Maritza proved she can shake a cocktail like nobody’s business. The carbonara is my go-to—hands down the best I’ve had this side of, well, Italy. The oysters are my favorite in Indy, always perfectly shucked, and the wine list makes me grin every time I spot my favorite Vermentino. You don’t have to be a neighbor to feel like one once you’re at Bocca!“

“The Fest Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding of just under 100 guests! It was WAY more affordable and flexible than any other option we looked at in Indianapolis. We were able to cater in our own food, hire a DJ of our choosing, and bring in our own decorations, which saved a ton of money and gave us a lot of creative freedom to create the wedding we wanted. There were different bar packages to go with any budget, too. We were able to choose 5 beers to have on tap, plus two wines and canned ciders. While the space is connected to the brewery, you almost wouldn't know it, as we had a private entrance and no issues with sound spilling over from the brewery side. The space has great natural lighting, great sound system and dimmable lights, and beautiful tables and chairs, which made it perfect for an indoor wedding. Our ceremony and reception were in the same space, and we were able to set up in a way that didn't require the space to be flipped in between, which just made everything easy and cozy. We worked with Kiley, and she was super helpful, communicative, and just helped us feel at ease with the whole process. The bartenders who served us were also super helpful and kind. Cannot recommend enough if you are looking for an affordable and dreamy venue in Indy!“

A few weeks ago, we had dinner for a friend's birthday. Overall, a party of around 8-10 on a Sunday night. We had a fantastic server all evening, who was attentive and had good humor. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was so nice and cozy.
It was the first time I've been there in many, many years, and I don't know why we don't try to visit more often.“
