“Driving passed on route 30 looking for a place to eat. Good reviews on this place had me go of road to this town restaurant. Well worth it.The country fried steak was crunchy, and the meat tender. Tasty gravy on top. Nice portion too.I'd eat their again. ?“
“Burger was amazing. Thick and juicy & lots of flavor. Cook forgot to add bacon, lettuce & tomato, but corrected the bacon promptly. Italian beef was also very good, with great flavor. Fries and onion rings were average.Service was prompt but food did take a half hour (didn't seem like there were any food orders ahead of us).Atmosphere was typical for a small town bar but still fairly quiet, for a late Saturday afternoon. So glad we stopped in, while passing through town.Parking: Curbside parkingWheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is wheelchair accessible, as is entire inside of building.“
“The better wing stop of La Porte. My only complaint is that there is no host at the front. You have to wait around and hopefully catch the eye of one of the servers, who will seat you after they've helped their existing table. Food is good & service once you've had a seat is good.“
“Very neighborhood bar feel. Waiter knew many of the people at our table though it was my first time there. Great service from staff. The food was soooo good! I can't eat anything fried and so I went for a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly with great seasoning.Dietary restrictions: I can't currently have anything too high in fat but was able to find a grilled chicken sandwich that was perfect. The flavor was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly not over done or rubbery like most places. Nice and tender which is perfect for a sandwich.“
“Was surprised when friends suggested this place for Friday night dinner. Union Mills isn't a huge town but well worth the trip to White Horse Salon. AYCE Pollock Friday night special. Excellent. Homemade Potato Salad was truly a treat as was the Homemade Cole slaw. All of us had the Pollock but different sides. The fries are the shoestring, baked potato looked large and nicely done. Tarter Sauce was an other homemade item that complimented the fish and fries if you dunk them. One server tonight but she was right on top of her job. Great choice. We'll be back here.I forgot to mention this is a smoking establishment. The closer to the bar area the worse it is. We sat all the way in the back of the room by the front door and had no problem.“
