“What a beautiful little place nestled away in Roann! We hadn't been back to town in over a year and didn't even know the restaurant had opened. They had a special menu for the Roann festival...we tried the brisket sandwich, mac and cheese, and baby potatoes. All were fantastic! Brisket was tender, juicy, and not overpowered with seasoning. Mac and cheese reminds me of the offerings at Shigs in Fort Wayne...super tasty! The baby potatoes were cooked perfectly and buttered to perfection. Prices are more than fair with very generous servings. We'll be back for a routine Saturday special in the very near future!“
“Outstanding pizza and service! The PaPa's Pepperoni with Double Decker Crust is nothing short of amazing. The Covered Bridge Cheese Bread is loaded with cheese and is mouthwatering, as well. The service was fast and friendly. We're heading back for their pie!“
“Went in tonight after a clerk at a local supermarket recommended it to me. It's definitely a local haunt and a bit of a dive. Tonight was "Cigar Night," which was obvious as soon as you opened the door. Fine with me, and I might have joined them if they took credit cards. I only had a modest amount of cash and I wanted to be sure I didn't overspend on a Macanudo or Cohiba, then have to raid the ATM to pay my dinner tab. Special of the evening was a Chicken Philly. Made to order, it was hot, fresh and HUGE. Which is not to say I didn't eat every bite because I did! Washed it back with a bottled beer (of which they have plenty). I believe I was the only non-local because everyone else was talking amongst each other. The owners/bartender/cook were very attentive and made me feel at home so I wouldn't let not being a local scare you away. The food and drink were excellent and reasonably priced. Chicken Philly and a beer, out less than $20 including tip. Check it out.“
