“This has been my favorite place for Mexican food since it opened. Everything is so fresh and it's always consistent. The guac/salsa/queso and chips are amazing, and their tortillas are just out of this world. One of my top recommendations to anyone visiting Valpo and looking to eat.“

“We had El Salto cater our wedding and they were amazing from start to finish!!! We had a taco bar with chicken and beef along with fajita veggies for our vegetarian guests. We also had rice, beans, guacamole, queso, and chips and salsa! Great prices, great communication and just all around a wonderful experience!! Thank you, Caitlin and the El Salto team! A++++++ highly recommend!!“

“Went today for lunch and was very impressed with the food. Signed up with the app and got a free appetizer. Manager came over and offered complimentary fries and a coupon for another free appetizer our next visit! Waitress took care of us well. Only problem we had was it stank in the restaurant…. lol
Stank like a bad dookie or a clogged drain in the back. Would’ve been 5 stars but it was a bit stinky.“

“Great manager and staff! I drove 30 minutes to get some food and forgot my money sitting on the counter. The manager and staff were super patient and understanding while I was trying to count up change and thank you so so much to the waitress that took money out of pocket to help ? you all seriously made my night!“

“Delicious food and a great addition to Wanatah! All of the employees are very nice and super quick to help! It’s a VERY clean establishment, everything was visible and spotless! The food was very good, the flautas, tacos, burrito, queso, and horchata was great and very fresh! Will definitely get this again!“
