“We kept hearing great things about the fried chicken. It totally lived up to the hype! The food is really good. The homemade ham and bean soup is very good. “Good food. Beer cheese and macaroni was definitely something we weren't expecting. The kids really liked it. There were 5 of us, so it did take a while for the food to come. But everything was hot. The grilled Cajun chicken sandwich was great. Fish chunks were really good too.“

“It was our first time here but my sister and brother-in-law had been here before. It was the Saturday before Easter Sunday so they were a little busy and we had an hour wait. It was still too early on the season for their outside river bar to be open but we were able to get a drink inside and wait outside to be called. Once seated the waitress was top notch and very helpful. She made recommendations and helped guide us through the menu. The food was good when it finally arrived but we had to wait almost an hour after ordering by which time we were all on the verge of starvation. All in, it was a good night with good conversation which helped temper the long waits we experienced.“

“I would give it a 4.5 if I could. The grilled wings are stellar with the triple cats “all sauce”. Highly recommend. Everything else was more regular to somewhat higher end bar food but the wings truly are some of the top 5 best in this area.“
