“I’ve been going to Fuel for years, first when it started downtown, then moved to Five Points and then expanded to this location. They’ve always offered an amazing selection of coffee, snacks and food that are always worth it! Banana pancakes and french toast are the bomb! I’ve probably had everything on the menu at least once and it never disappoints! Colleen has also done a wonderful job at making Fuel a community stop for Lafayette friends and family. “Java House is a great place to grab some coffee or food! The staff are nice and the coffee was amazing. They have a nice variety of drinks and small things to eat if you need a snack. It's located near campus on Vine Street. The space was formally leased by cooper moon as well. Street parking available, but fills up very fast. Go check them out!“

“Scones and Doilies is hands down THEE best bakery in town! Their service is amazing, prices are reasonable, and I've never been disappointed by anything I've tried here. I brought a friend in with me last fall and the owner gave her a freshly baked sample of a scone since it was her first time visiting. The staff is so friendly and hospitable.

My personal favorite treat is their cake, I recommend their lemon blueberry flavor ??. If you're stopping in for a quick treat, their frosted cookies never disappoint! I cannot wait until they have gingerbread cookies again, those are a must try for gingerbread lovers. Their cookies are large and thick, with such delicious frosting — you can tell the cookie and frosting is made fresh. Not to mention how beautiful their frosting designs and colors are.
