“When I stopped by this past weekend for coffee, Lina was extremely attentive and helpful. Despite it being busy, I got my drink quickly and it was perfect. Thanks Leaps team!”
“The Boiler House is beautiful! Love the ambience. Leza and Joe made our evening particularly enjoyable. Both of them were very engaging and efficient. The food was delicious. Nice variety of choices. Leza was very helpful telling us about all of the dishes. You are fortunate to have her.”

“From the time we enter and were seated (immediately) to the end of our meal (we were a party of 5), this was a great experience. Having such a warm and welcoming environment like this so close to Purdue's campus is really great! Kenna was our server. If we could give her 10 stars we would have! She did a great job of giving us friendly and timely service and keeping our coffee cups full! She was cheerful, kind and welcoming without being intrusive.. Grateful for Kenna's great service!”

“****Edit: Somehow my "does NOT recommend" was changed to "recommends". I do NOT recommend for group gatherings.*** I made a reservation for a work party and was told they do not like to book reservations on Friday nights, especially for parties larger than 12. That was right around what I was expecting; although, I may have had a few more. I made sure to get RSVPs from folks so I could pivot to a different location and cancel, if necessary. We ended up having 11 folks total in our party, so it worked out. The Bryant sent me a text the day before the reservation to ask that we keep the reservation limited to 2 hours or less (this would have been nice to know when I had booked ~3 weeks prior). Move to the day of: I got there around 20 minutes early thinking they could seat me at the table, if it was ready, or at least seat me right at 6 pm, since that was the time the reservation was for. The hostess informed me that they would not seat me until at least half of my party was there; so, I went to the bar area and had a drink while I waited for other folks to arrive. The bar staff was friendly and prompt. I closed out my tab for the one drink and moved back to the hostess area around 5:50, when I expected other folks to start arriving. I sat on the couch, and the first few folks started trickling in. I informed them of what I was told, and we waited until there were 7 of us there before I approached and told the hostess that over half of us were present (around 5:59). There was another woman at the hostess stand, whom I'm assuming was a manger with the way she was moving about the establishmen, who asked me when I expected the rest of our party to arrive. I told her I expected everyone there within a few minutes. She informed me that they would start getting waters on the table and then they would seat us. I found this a little odd; but, it wasn't a deal breaker. We ended up being seated about 10 minutes after our reservation was scheduled for. Again, I am flexible and understand that plans might need adjustments from time to time. Maybe they hadn't put the tables together yet, for all I knew. We got seated and the waitress got our drink and appetizer orders in. The waitress did a good job taking care of the large party and did what I needed her to with the bill (splitting it into two bills). Our food was delicious and the drinks were good. She was observant and was quick to get boxes for us as meals were finished. There were a couple desserts ordered: they arrived quickly and were delicious. Plates were being cleared around 7:50. A few folks may have wanted to order another drink or two; however, the lady manager proceeded to stop at our table around 7:53 to tell us they had another reservation at 8 and we needed to leave. Had they not delayed seating us and gave us a full 2 hours, I likely would not be leaving this review. I found the management rude for the amount of money that they were making in the hour and 45 minutes that we were there (over $550 was spent). In my opinion, kicking customers out of a dining establishment is not a good way to keep business. Although the wait staff and food was overall good, I do not intend on booking another group event at The Bryant: nor can I recommend it to anyone looking to book larger group events.”

“They were the only place open for ramen on New Year's Eve, I really enjoyed the veggie option. So thankful for a good vegetarian option, the portion sizes were enormous, and the people were very friendly. Food was prepared quickly, would definitely visit again.”

“Silver dipper has really good ice cream. Always clean great series. Today I went in and noticed the bathroom to the men's door was not working. Not a big issue something that can be easily fixed.”
“Food was amazing and fresh, got the beef and the chicken definitely good value for the price. I loved the service, the employee that served me Sam was very nice and helped answer all of my questions since I am allergic to seafood. Would definitely go again.”
“Visited for the first time today! Tasty and pretty cheap and authentic Chinese ingredients. I got the tomato soup which is not spicy, but other options are marked as spicy. The guy working was very nice and helpful. I will be back! Heads up summer hours means they are closing at 9:30pm for now”

“i have been to this place several times during the past few years. The only healthier mexican food option around. Chipotle, while good, does contain tons of preservatives. Do try out enchilada style burritos, bowls. The following burrito option has been my favourite all through.
grilled chicken burrito enchilada style
black beans, hot sauce, rice on side (not included inside burrito)
toppings: everything that is free of cost
The best!!!”

“Anyone giving this place 1 star over the “no samples” policy needs to take a breath and open a newspaper.
Do you have any idea what’s happening in the sample spoon market right now?
No. You don’t. Nobody does.
Because Big Spoon owns the newspapers.
Let me walk you through this. Those little pink spoons are made of plastic. Plastic is made of oil. Oil is made of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are extinct. EXTINCT. As in, they are not making any more of them. I shouldn’t have to explain supply and demand to people who can’t even commit to a flavor.
That little spoon in your hand? That’s not a utensil. That’s a velociraptor. A velociraptor who has been dead for 150 million years, who got pressure-cooked inside the earth for eons, refined in Texas, molded in a factory, and shipped to a strip mall, all so you could taste one atom of pistachio, make a face, and go “hmm, what’s the one next to it?”
You did that to a velociraptor. He could open doors.
And you want a second spoon.
I tried to warn people. I called my financial advisor and told him to move everything into spoons. He said the “spoon desk isn’t real” and that I “have to stop calling his personal phone.” Which is EXACTLY what a man with heavy spoon exposure would say. He’s in deep. His whole family is plastic.
Meanwhile Silver Dipper is the only business in America with the spine to face this crisis. They’re not cheap. They’re maintaining a strategic spoon reserve. Somewhere below that shop, I believe with my whole heart, there is a climate-controlled vault of pink spoons guarded by a teenager named Kaitlyn who has orders not to crack it open until things get “Mad Max.”
That’s not a dessert policy. That’s continuity of government.
You wouldn’t walk into Fort Knox and ask to “try a little gold to see if it’s for you.” You wouldn’t ask the Federal Reserve for a taste of the money supply “before committing.” But somehow Deb, a 61-year-old woman in a tie-dye apron, is supposed to hand over sacred dinosaur remains because you, a grown adult, cannot choose between chocolate and chocolate with sadness in it?
Deb doesn’t owe you samples. Deb is holding the line at Thermopylae.
And yes, no samples means sometimes you fly blind. Yesterday I walked in, and with the unearned confidence of a man buying a timeshare, pointed at something called “Grandma’s Bourbon Pickle Marshmallow Crunch.”
No sample. No questions. No survivors.
Was it good? Wrong question. Did Neil Armstrong ask if the moon was good? Some journeys aren’t about enjoyment. They’re about being the first.
It tasted like a county fair filed for bankruptcy in my mouth. I finished every bite. Out of respect. For the flag, and for Deb.
The ice cream here, by the way, is genuinely phenomenal, which at this point is honestly the least interesting thing about my visit.
5 stars. I’d give 6 but I understand rationing now.
Thank you, Silver Dipper. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your service.
History will remember what you did here.
The Spoon Crisis of 2026 will not.”
