“Amazing food, Chef James and his staff are welcoming and friendly. I have been here seven times and I will keep coming back. I take all of my out of town guests here, I truly think this place is the heart of Indy.
You can’t go wrong with any of their sides: I personally always get the cabbage, green beans, collared greens, corn, mac. For entrees I love the catfish and. burnt ends. Always finished with their peach cobbler. Everytime!“

“Our first time here, short wait time, our waitress was great but the food! It was delish plus and so fresh tasting… I recommend the sweet potato chips and made fresh to order guacomole… we had the street tacos, chicken with mango salsa and spiced street corn ! It’s an hour and a half drive but one we will make again!“

“I've been wanting to go here for awhile! on an early Saturday afternoon, we finally went. everyone was very pleasant and patient with our family (toddler and infant.) although we didn't have to use the changing table in the bathroom, it was appreciated that they had one. the service was prompt and the food was absolutely delicious. we had the pulled pork sandwich, salmon salad, and kids Mac and cheese with beans/rice. no complaints! our waitress Sue was fantastic. we will be back!“

Other employees at my establishment highly recommended this place.
I opted for a the Olivia's Old South Scoop and the Maui Mama for my first purchase.
Both are incredible! If you like soft sweet heat, the Maui scoop is for you! Just enough kick, but not harsh, and the pineapple sets it off!
Kathy introduced herself to me personally, she was very warm and welcoming. I was very impressed.
Julie made sure to educate me on the history of this chain and set me up with rewards.
I will definitely be returning!“

“The food was very good, healthy, and filling. You get so much food for such a great price! Everything was fresh, I just wish they gave salt and pepper packets. The classic Carol didn’t have much flavor but Sassy Scotty blew me away and rocked my world!“

“This year I decided to enjoy Christmas Day and make it easier on my Grandchildren by ordering the Prime Rib Heat n' Serve Family Dinner. Everyone was pleased and enjoyed the day with the babies, Isaac and Aeris. It was delicious. The only recommendation I would make is better dinner rolls. 👍🙂🎁🎄😋“

“We visited for the first time on 6/13, and my son and I decided to give it a try. The customer service was top-tier—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
The food was very tasty! In my opinion, it's a little overpriced, but honestly, what isn't these days? We dined in and enjoyed both our meal and the atmosphere. I had the chicken wrap, and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying one of their delicious desserts in a jar!
Overall, we had a great first experience and would definitely return.“
