“Im still feeling a bit emotional and greatful for this business. It is our third visit including the one we came when they're closed already. We came in this past Friday at 7:02pm to buy some cake. The store closed at 7pm, everything was put away. We were a bit disappointed because we were craving bundt cake so bad. The next morning we came back to get some ,and the gentleman ( maybe the owner/manager) didn't charge us for our order cuz he feels bad that we came when the store was already closed. They did not do anything wrong, and he doesn't have to do that, but he did . That speak very loud about the business mindset he has, and the great customer service display at this specific location. “Ricky’s at Pittsboro went above and beyond for my grandpa both today and for the past few years. He’s older and can’t get around anymore, but the wait staff absolutely adore him. He’s not able to go for daily breakfast anymore like he used to, but when he did go, it was the highlight of his day. Today was a hard day for him, but the staff loved on him and made sure he felt important. They had his order memorized and even took care of the check. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without Ricky’s these past couple years. They made sure my Grandpa was well taken care of.“

I live on the south side of Indy, but found myself in Zionsville for a meeting—and I’m so glad I stumbled into Roasted in the Village. With so many coffee shop options nearby, this gem stood out in the best way.

From the moment I walked in, the energy was amazing. The staff was not only incredibly kind, but genuinely curious about what brought me in. The conversation felt natural and welcoming—not forced—which made the whole experience feel personal and sincere.

I set up shop for a few hours to get some work done, and the vibe was perfect: cozy, calm, and full of community. It was a joy watching the regulars filter in alongside first-timers, and the baristas treated everyone with the same friendly enthusiasm and big smiles.

I had a simple drip coffee, but their menu was packed with great options—including some really creative seasonal drinks. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is 100% worth the stop. I’ll absolutely be back—maybe even without a meeting to bring me to this side of town!“
