“I love discovering a brewery off the beaten path. Driving through Elwood a flag proclaiming "Brewery" caught my attention and the neon "Open" sign drew us in...as well as the promise of a cold draught beer.

This small brewery in a renovated house offers a nicely varied tap list and a cozy small town brewery feel. My husband had a flight and particularly enjoyed their peanut butter porter as well as the Crackerjack cream ale which had the aroma of popcorn, a slight aftertaste of caramel and still tasted like beer! I enjoyed their hazy IPA "Wish that I had Juicy's Girl".

The interior is small but inviting and our bartender, the owner, was friendly and happy to chat about their beer. The atmosphere was very friendly and laid back, which is exactly what we love in any brewery.
I would highly recommend stopping in for a pint or a flight if you're in the area or anywhere nearby.

Wanted to make an honorable mention of the decor, which is a great mix of Midwest themed food artwork and cerebral gothic touches. I especially enjoyed the purple velvet couch, ink blot artwork printed on vintage dictionary pages, and skull wallpaper in the bathroom that is illuminated by the neon sign.

All in all, this spot is a gem of eclectic beer and atmosphere!”

“I enjoyed ❤️ the bar tender Amy, she is extremely friendly and attentive! I tried their tenderloin and I was blown away at, not just how well cooked it was, but it had the great substance of the hand battered , deep fried with fresh lettuce and plenty of onions, also with any condiment of choice, ( not processd meat), but with the same quality you would expect from a signature 5-star resturant. Overall the place was of friendly customers and a great atmosphere which makes for an awesome experience!”

“I have been coming to this place since I was 4... I remember the b&g being SOO much bigger kinda sad as an adult but still you can't beat the price.. the atmosphere... The quality of food they produce.... I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap breakfast that will start your day right... “It says it right on the wall when you enter: "The American Tin Plate" and they mean it. What you see is what you get, and what you see is easy american food, well done and served in portions that are as generous in quality as they are in price. I came from a breaded pork tenderloin group, and was NOT disappointed. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. What i didnt expect was some of the best country gravy Ive had since my own grandmother died, delightful salads/coleslaw, state fair worthy onion rings, and the generous free ribbon fries. All of those are enough to bring me back for more. Easily accessible from the northside of Indianapolis it is well worth the trip for a good meal.”

“So many amazing years of this amazing icecream place. I can’t even count how many millions of times I’ve been here. My son loves their almond joy icecream the one place you can get it and it taste like almond joy. Sadly they are only open in the summer so enjoy this great place.”

“A neat little place kind of tucked away off the main drag. Stop by for a snack or treat. Gourmet popcorn, donuts made fresh, drinks... So much going on here and they are constantly improving. Like most places in Tipton the people are really friendly. A good place to hit up if you want to linger with family or friends.

Parking: When they get busy it can sometimes be difficult to find parking in the lot or on the street. Don't let that dissuade you, it's well worth a bit of a walk.”

“We just had our reception in the Green House downstairs event room & EVERYTHING was perfect! Abby & gang even rearranged the upstairs area so we could have the downstairs just the way we wanted. I would highly recommend any event being held there. The food is amazing, staff is very attentive, accommodating, down to earth & approachable. All in all a wonderful experience. Thanks so much!”
