“My partner and I recently visited Urban Vines with another couple and had the best experience! With both wine and beer options available, we were all able to find something that we loved. My personal favorite was the Syrah Wine, while my partner preferred the Juice Almighty Beer. We were there for one of their Trivia Nights, and after ordering one of their Breadstick Board Appetizers, we all sat down to join in the game. We did NOT win Trivia, but after a few more rounds of drinks and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie for dessert, I don't think any of us registered the loss.Their outdoor patio and seating is comfortable with a great view of their vineyards, a pond, and a small playground for the kiddos.We truly enjoyed our evening at Urban Vines and can't wait to return for more of their special events and live music nights during the warmer months!!“
“We really enjoy Books and Brew. We can go and play games and have a drink, they offer kids BINGO, and we have done cookie decorating and painting classes there. It is close enough to walk to in good weather and just a great addition to our area.Parking: free open parking lot at a strip mall.Kid-friendliness: Great big parking lot.I don't think I have ever been here without my kids. We met with grandparents to hang out and play games too.“
“A wicked venue with their own brews and their own liquors that they make on site. Their bourbon is on point and highly recommended by this connoisseur. Their Vodka is very smooth as well. Get in there and enjoy a show and some drinks. I went in there for the first time last night and it's honestly a place I'd love to spend more time in. Great bands and great drinks.“
“Positive energy at a nearby watering hole. There are several of possibilities available to everyone of them. Make sure to view the artwork created by nearby artists; nearly all of it is available for purchase. Should you want to throw some bags, there's a corn hole on the patio. They don't have a kitchen, but they do provide bread sticks, Broadripple bagel chips, and Greek pizza available by the slice. Since everyone is quite talkative, you might meet some new people. “I got married here in October 2023 and this was sucha great venue. You food, space, bartenders and staff made everything go easy and fun that day. You guys will always have a special place in my heart.But as for the rest. side, the brisket grilled cheese is my favorite sandwich ever sometimes I just find myself thinking abt it randomly.“
“Phoebe was our server/bartender. She went out of her way to accommodate our special request for a variation of a mocktail. Even though it felt like we were getting royal treatment, I got the impression she treats everyone that way. It's hard to find people who really put their heart into their work but she is clearly one of them. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back and will look for Phoebe.“
“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“
“We enjoy the details of many of the dishes. The ingredients are sometimes surprising and that’s the best thing about many dishes on the menu. Sure you can make salmon and cauliflower at home, but probably not like Field Brewing makes salmon and cauliflower. Their recipes and dishes are just always a delight to us. If you’re gluten free, they take their gluten free preparation very seriously. Enjoy!“
“I visited Upland for the first time 3 weeks ago and have came back several times. The number one reason I continuously come back is for Sarah. She is the bartender and is absolutely stellar. Her personality is absolutely amazing and her service is just as good. I also love the food and atmosphere. If you haven’t tried Upland, you’re in for a great time!“
“This is probably the best family/dog-friendly brewery experiences we’ve ever had! Everyone loves a puppy, but Hagrid was welcomed with love and arms wide open! Everyone loved our toddlers! The staff were awesome! The customers were awesome! The food and beer were awesome! Thanks from a family from Cincy who were visiting friends. We’ll be back with a 100 pound Hagrid next time! I’d add more exclamation points but I think I hit my quota!!!“
“Very very tasty! I have celiac disease, and felt confident eating here, especially due to their separate gluten-free fryer and allergen menu. We got the pizza fries with the garden topping, and shared the poblano burger as well as the wedge salad. All very delicious!Dietary restrictions: They have a separate allergen menu!“
“Sometimes I'm just craving a smashburger and they do them up right here: nice crispy edges and delicious flavor. They also have fries now too which are better than a lot of other restaurant fries in the area. Food is cooked to order, so it always comes out nice and hot. The burgers are also fully customizable so just tell them what you want on it!There are plenty of comfortable seating options and the inside is kid-friendly and the outdoor patio area allows dogs. Bonus: they have an indoor shuffleboard table.During peak times, the registers can get backed up and quite the line will form. I recommend settling your bill ahead of time in these cases. Hopefully someday there will be an option to pay by phone remotely without having to wait in line. The entire staff is super-friendly and generally quick to help in any way.All-in-all, a very nice spot to go, relax, and grab a quick bite.“
“Big Lug is one of the best spots in Indy. Smash burger with curly fries, side of ranch and a Lo-Cal Ranch Water you can’t go wrong. We get excellent service every time, this past visit our server Kevin was very thorough and attentive. The patio outside is great, and the vibe upstairs is great too. Love it here!!!!“
“I've always liked this location. Today we came to celebrate my best friend's birthday brunch. Zach, our server was amazing. He made sure our drinks were refilled and made sure we knew what was going on with the menu. Plus we just loved his personality. We had our choice of brunch or the full menu. We started out with the whipped feta which was plentiful and delicious with the warm pita, we had to order a few more since we ran out but they came out pretty quick. We all ordered off the brunch menu - the breakfast sandwich, the eggs and hash, and the big nasty. We all left satisfied and full!!!“
“Today is my first day ever in Indianapolis, and as I was doing some DoorDash.. stumbled upon this brewery, and I thought to myself.. why not? Been a long 9 hour drive across Kentucky up to Indiana.. Why not?Oh my word! This Brewery is IT! My first beer was a simple sour Blackberry (the red drink) and damn it hit the spot for $7! Then I got the Dragonfly IPA (because ya boi loves those IPAs) and it’s $4 today! Perfect! Got two Dragons! Yes!I ordered the Blue Cheese Fume burger which is somewhat spicy but filled with with rich, savory flavors and oh it’s soooooo GOOOD!!!! The fries are crisp and delicious!!!If you come to Indianapolis and want some good food and have money…UPLAND BREWING CO. 100% !!“
“Food: 2.5We came in knowing the food reviews weren't the best so we ordered something simple to go with our beer. Beer and vibes were amazing! We got a flight for $14 and sat on the patio in the sun. Staff was friendly and quick to fix any issues. I don't recommend coming here for food. It's too pricey considering the quality. Eat something before you come and sit back and enjoy a cold beer on the patio“
