“My husband and I stopped by last weekend on our kid-free day to check out the cigar lounge. We were immediately greeted by staff (cannot remember the gentleman’s name) and I told them this was our first time. He walked us through the whole process, made us feel comfortable and like we were friend’s we haven’t seen in years! The gentleman recommended the best cigars, told us to go sit down and they would handle the rest… super friendly staff, clean establishment. My husband and I will most definitely be back!“

“The Mill does it up right, when you walk in, you get that cozy, friendly feeling. I've been there a handful of times and never had a bad meal. You know the owners care about there restaurant when they are there helping deliver food to tables, asking how you doing. Five stars all day“

“Came here for a special event and wish it was closer to where I live. The vibes are wonderful with good lighting, large vinyl and VHS wall, and plenty of places to sit both in and outside. The drinks were fairly priced, but was sad they were out of rootbeer. Main issues: not enough restrooms & at least for this event they didn't have enough bartender for the size. Will probably look for other show or event to justify coming out this far north.“

“Definitely my go to spot in Carmel, and Connor behind the bar is my go to guy. That guy has a deep knowledge of beer and always has the perfect suggestion for what to try. With how deep the menu is on their rotating taps, it’s nice to be able to talk with someone who can ask about your tastes and immediately know what to give you. It definitely turns each trip to Sun King an experience, and you don’t get that just anywhere. Couldn’t recommend Sun King or Connor any more.“

“I was in from out of town several days before Xmas, and was in the vicinity so from Googling, we ended up here for a quick and basic breakfast. We got basic croissant with egg and cheese buy still, I was impressed! Croissants tasted fresh. There were only a few other people there so I hope it makes more business because its a charming spot and is WOMAN OWNED! The atmosphere is that of a lounge, with several pretty red sofas.. and they've got a few of those popular lit up phrase-signs. It definitely has a different, more unique vibe than most places in Indy. Oh, and make sure you use the restroom, because the decor in there made me giggle out loud to myself!! “I won't lie, I've never had a place allow my dog to be treated as much of a princess as what she is here. I originally set up an appointment and party to have my dog for her temp birthday to be done here. And oh my goodness, I've never seen so many of the regulars and the bar staff treat her like a little princess as she is. The drinks are fantastic. The beers are phenomenal, but also the staff is fantastic on working around dietary limitations like gluten intolerance. I have slowly become gluten intolerant, and the staff has been fantastic about making sure that their menus are safe. For those that have these allergies. What a fantastic crew, thank you for allowing me and my own to come in here and treating us like royalty! Thank you so much!“

“I travel to Indy once or twice a year, and I make sure I stop at KSR for food and drinks. By far the best family-owned bar and restaurant I have visited in Indy. I highly recommend this place. Do not judge by appearance (which I believe makes it a better experience). The pizza, wings, and sandwiches are off the charts. Hell, the salads look amazing, and I am not a big salad fan. We played darts and watched the game, we then moved over to the bowling game. Our bartender Donna was warm and friendly. She’s also the kitchen manager and had prepared homemade spaghetti and meatballs for Sunday dinner offering. We ordered this to-go but to be prepared for us when we were ready to leave approximately 2 hours later. We had a change of shift bartender who was just as friendly and she made sure our food was fresh not long after I had let her know that we were going to leave soon. Great music and friendly people! “This was our first time going to this establishment under new management. We arrived fairly early and were able to enjoy the music, a Cigar, and some drinks before it got crowded. The ambiance was great and the décor was appealing. The ventilation was very good. Even if you weren't a smoker, the cigar smoke was never an issue! I appreciate the clean restrooms and the comfortable seating. We were able to purchase cigars. However, I recommend you bring your own. They are on the pricey side. The young ladies were very friendly and attentive, and the bartender was able to make me a drink that I did not think they would be able to make, and it was on point! And on top of all of that, the best part was the DJ! Dj MJ was THE best DJ I've heard in a very long time. I didn't stop singing, moving, and dancing all night. He was so good that we felt compelled to tip him. Overall, we had a great experience and plan to revisit next weekend!“

“We tried @halfliter_bbq in #Indianapolis, and this is what we rated them. A couple of things first. It was their Octoberfest, so they were very busy. Even with that, the food was out in 6 minutes! Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “I go here multiple times a month, and trust me when I say it’s not the closest to my house. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, but it reminds me of bars back home on the gulf coast. It’s tiny and comfortable, and other than the regular crowd who sit at the bar all of the time everyone else is always different every night.“

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“
