“My husband and I stopped by last weekend on our kid-free day to check out the cigar lounge. We were immediately greeted by staff (cannot remember the gentleman’s name) and I told them this was our first time. He walked us through the whole process, made us feel comfortable and like we were friend’s we haven’t seen in years! The gentleman recommended the best cigars, told us to go sit down and they would handle the rest… super friendly staff, clean establishment. My husband and I will most definitely be back!“

I’ve had multiple waitresses and they’ve all been perfect, always attentive and thoughtful. The food is great and they have gluten free options as well. Everything about it is perfect, and if you’re near spring mill road, the mill is the only option!“

“Visited Sun King Carmel on a Sunday early evening. First visit at the ‘food court’ so a bit wandering and chaotic. There should be a court monitor stationed at a desk 1st floor middle of seating area right outside fenced area entrance from food court to access Sun King mostly to screen / prevent minors from entering the restricted area but didn’t know you could sit at a table in the general seating food court area and a Sun King server would visit to take your order as I just walked up to the Sun King bar counter and ordered myself unwittingly. Problem would be is likely a bit of a wait if I hadn’t self-ordered as it took about 10-15 minutes after I was seated for a server to check on my status after I sat at a table. But, the tab runs and the bartender tracks/forwards your order to the server and they finally track you down ultimately to pay the bill before you depart.

In the meantime, can partake the food court vendors for specialty cuisines yourself. Order and pick up food yourself and take to your table. If you can find a clean table top, as even though the food court wasn’t bysy, the tables weren’t all clean.

So Sun King has a limited variety on tap. The Osiris Pale Ale is mild not bitter so good and drinkable. But the Orange Vanilla Cream Ale is flavored similar to children’s orange aspirin icky I would not order it again.

Counter bar tender accommodating and server polite and courteous. Did check on me frequently after finding me seated.

Anyways if your first visit might be confusing the order delivery seating process. But go get it yourself or sit at a table and wait a bit and hope a server tends to you in a reasonable amount of time.“

Typically, coffee cafes close at 3:00 p.m. making it impossible to get an after dinner coffee but thanks to Thieves there is now a place to go. Friendly service and well made espresso.“

The seating tables are nicely spaced out. Not over crowded. Our server Oloft ( forgot how to spell his name ) was SPECTACULAR! The menu is very well laid out and the portions are not disappointing! The staff is very friendly and quick to serve & pre bus the table. Our drinks were delicious AND the dessert drinks you have to try! ALL, the food was fresh and just simply delicious. “What a fun Sunday evening! My ex husband and I are in our early 40’s. Dating again for the third time after two marriages to one another!
We played darts and watched the game, we then moved over to the bowling game. Our bartender Donna was warm and friendly. She’s also the kitchen manager and had prepared homemade spaghetti and meatballs for Sunday dinner offering. We ordered this to-go but to be prepared for us when we were ready to leave approximately 2 hours later. We had a change of shift bartender who was just as friendly and she made sure our food was fresh not long after I had let her know that we were going to leave soon. Great music and friendly people! “Interesting little place. Dined outdoors here for lunch, and it had a great vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, but they do not offer table service. You order your food and drinks from the bar. Rock solid breaded tenderloin! Very nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. All the toppings were fresh, and the pickles tasted like they were locally sourced. They had a smoker going outside when I walked up, and it smelled fantastic! Would definitely come back here again.“

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“

“We tried @halfliter_bbq in #Indianapolis, and this is what we rated them. A couple of things first. It was their Octoberfest, so they were very busy. Even with that, the food was out in 6 minutes! Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “I go here multiple times a month, and trust me when I say it’s not the closest to my house. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, but it reminds me of bars back home on the gulf coast. The ambiance was great and the décor was appealing. The ventilation was very good. Even if you weren't a smoker, the cigar smoke was never an issue! I appreciate the clean restrooms and the comfortable seating. We were able to purchase cigars. However, I recommend you bring your own. They are on the pricey side. The young ladies were very friendly and attentive, and the bartender was able to make me a drink that I did not think they would be able to make, and it was on point! And on top of all of that, the best part was the DJ! Dj MJ was THE best DJ I've heard in a very long time. I didn't stop singing, moving, and dancing all night. He was so good that we felt compelled to tip him. Overall, we had a great experience and plan to revisit next weekend!“

“This little spot was really legit! Went to a party to celebrate a 60th birthday and it was so much fun! Everyone was friendly, the food was awesome, there is a bar but I'm not a drinker so I can't speak on that but the Sprite was top shelf! The set up is very casual with plenty of seating so it's easy to get to know people, they also have a kitchen and restroom on site, I didn't go in to see them but my BIL said the restroom was very nice and clean. Cool place!“
