“Came here for a date night expecting a great steakhouse, but 1933 Lounge in Carmel honestly exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is exactly what you want upscale but still comfortable, with dim lighting and a lively energy that makes it feel special without being over the top.

What really stood out, though, was the service especially Steve O. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel personalized. He gave great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience.

The food absolutely delivered. The shrimp cocktail had that signature St. Elmo heat strong and unforgettable. The appetizers were cooked perfectly and delicious. Drinks were also on point and well-crafted.

It’s definitely on the pricier side, but it feels worth it for the quality, service, and overall experience. Perfect spot for a date night or special occasion.

“Cannot recommend Marrakesh enough! Mussels and bread for appetizer were SO tasty. We didn’t know anything about Moroccan food walking in and our server was very helpful. The Tajines we ordered for our entrees were too good. SO much flavor! Super chic atmosphere too. Do not skip on the Baklava! Might be the best I’ve ever had. Loved the NA cocktail options too. “Josephine in Carmel — Vive la French Revolution (of Flavor)! 🇫🇷🥩🍷 We double-dated with my sister and brother-in-law last night at Josephine, where Executive Chef Andrew Popp (of Ambrosia Hospitality Group, owned by Dan and Anna Cage) continues to rewrite the book on French cuisine in Indianapolis—one perfect plate at a time. Let’s start with the steak frites. I’ve had them everywhere from Chicago to Paris, and I’ll say it: these are the best. Crispy, salty perfection paired with a steak so tender it practically whispered, merci. I came for the frites (my favorite), but I’ll be back for the boeuf bourguignon, which appeared as last night’s special. We ordered one for the table “just to taste” — and then promptly considered ordering four more. Julia Child would have wept tears of butter-scented joy. Service? Polished but friendly — like a Parisian waiter who’s actually glad you’re there. Drinks? Excellent. Company? Lovely. Evening? Perfect. “Had dinner on Monday for a private event. I’m still thinking about it days later. Best meal I’ve had in a while. The brisket was cooked so uniquely I’ve never had anything like it. 15/10. Service was excellent.“

“I was in from out of town several days before Xmas, and was in the vicinity so from Googling, we ended up here for a quick and basic breakfast. We got basic croissant with egg and cheese buy still, I was impressed! Croissants tasted fresh. There were only a few other people there so I hope it makes more business because its a charming spot and is WOMAN OWNED! The atmosphere is that of a lounge, with several pretty red sofas.. and they've got a few of those popular lit up phrase-signs. It definitely has a different, more unique vibe than most places in Indy. Oh, and make sure you use the restroom, because the decor in there made me giggle out loud to myself!! It came with collard greens and a southern style gravy that I don’t know could be so good! Don’t forget to try their wedge salad. It’s a winner. “We recently attended the ESQUE Burlesque Holiday Edition show at Feinstein’s, and what an incredible experience it was! The venue itself is quaint, gorgeous, and inviting, the perfect setting for an intimate performance. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.
The show was absolutely outstanding, with talented performers, captivating energy, and such a fun, festive vibe throughout the entire event. The cocktails were fantastic as well, beautifully made and perfectly fitting the event’s flair. A special shoutout to Ben, the manager, who stopped by our table a few times to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Such a thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed.
If there’s one area that fell short, it was the food. This was a brunch event, and unfortunately, the dishes were quite bland. With a bit more attention to flavor and seasoning, the kitchen could really elevate the experience to match the excellence of the rest of the venue.
Despite that one drawback, we absolutely loved our time at Feinstein’s and will definitely be returning soon. It’s a truly special place and we can’t wait to come back for another unforgettable show!“

“This was our first time going to this establishment under new management. We arrived fairly early and were able to enjoy the music, a Cigar, and some drinks before it got crowded. The ambiance was great and the décor was appealing. The ventilation was very good. Even if you weren't a smoker, the cigar smoke was never an issue! I appreciate the clean restrooms and the comfortable seating. We were able to purchase cigars. However, I recommend you bring your own. They are on the pricey side. The young ladies were very friendly and attentive, and the bartender was able to make me a drink that I did not think they would be able to make, and it was on point! And on top of all of that, the best part was the DJ! Dj MJ was THE best DJ I've heard in a very long time. I didn't stop singing, moving, and dancing all night. He was so good that we felt compelled to tip him. Overall, we had a great experience and plan to revisit next weekend!“

“The food was ok. But onn January 25the they served us a christmas dessert with peppermint and christmas candy..... The server was very friendly but her bluse was not ironed well. We did not finish our second corse meet dish and the desert was already served. For a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. We would expect more attention to details. but overal not a bad experience.“
