“I don’t know if management has changed but prior it was truly hit or miss what you would get coming here. We used to love this place but the inconsistency of things kept us away. Well we decided to give it a go last night… we had great service, exceptional food, and the sweet tea hit just right. Yay!“

“Traveling back to Texas from vacay in CO through Kansas. 1st time in KS so had to try the BBQ. We tried brisket, ribs, hot link, turkey, and chicken wings. Brisket was tender with good flavor. Ribs were fall off the bone yummy. Hot links were spot on and the turkey was tender and flavorful too. My middle had the chicken wings devoured in a matter of minutes. Fried okra was the best I’ve had. Potato salad and mac were good. Not a baked beans fan but they were very good too. Scalloped potatoes were awesome. Tried all 3 cobblers. Damn! They were all outstanding! All in all it was awesome BBQ! I’ve eaten BBQ all over the south. Gonna have to say KS is a strong 2nd to Texas.“

“I don’t normally take the time to leave reviews BUT the last few times I’ve gone through the drive-thru I’ve been constantly impressed by the gentleman taking my order. I learned his name tonight, it’s Kevin Johnson! I can be exhausted and grumpy but this guy makes me smile just by his tone of voice, he is friendly and upbeat. He has a gift that employers cannot teach. Kudos to you Kevin! Thanks for your awesomeness!“

“Great ? customer service. The gentlemen who served me made me feel warmly welcomed. The young man that gave me my food saw that I was thirsty drinking all the tea. He said, "there are free refills" and called out my order... Politely, saying, "here you are thirsty man." Very well mannered and such a delight to see young men still calling you sir and ma'am. He had a cap with a "B" on it.“

“Fun, friendly family entertainment. Reasonably priced. No longer offers the all-you-can-eat chuckwagon supper, but you can add on an optional meal catered by Chicken Max to your ticket. The meal is very tasty: roast chicken, mashed potatoes & cream gravy, vegetable, roll with butter, cookie, and a drink. Music style is country/western. Flavors Coffee & Ice Cream Bar sells coffee, ice cream, popcorn, water, soda, hot tea, and dessert items ranging $1-4 pre-show and during intermission.“

“We called ahead of time as we had a large party of 9. When we arrived at the time we originally told them, we had to wait about 10 minutes for our tables to be set up. I was under the impression that was the point of calling ahead since they weren't on a wait or busy at all at that point. My mom struggled with the short wait as she is handicapped and on oxygen so standing for awhile is more than just a small inconvenience for her.

We were sat right next to the bathroom and smelled the bathrooms the entire visit which was not fun.

Our server, Diana, was absolutely incredible! Her service was flawless and we appreciate her.

The blonde female manager on the other hand could use a lesson in customer service. She ran food to our table and as we said thank you or acknowledged her, she snarled her nose and left the table without a response. She passed our table more than once but never acknowledged us. It just didn't feel welcoming.“
