“Not only is this most incredible food in barbecue you can get but the people that work there are such a treasure! Honestly, I don’t know what I enjoy more the customer service/employees or the food! Very, very happy to have such a stellar restaurant in our community. Absolutely, the best pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket you could find. Their baked beans are sweet and have lots of meat in them. The macaroni and cheese comes from a local chef who makes the pasta from scratch! 😭🙌🩷 It literally doesn’t get any better than this. “We ate at Barrel Boys today for lunch. Honestly, I am really really picky with meat and I’m telling you this was the best BBQ we have ever had anywhere, including KC barbecue! I had brisket and my hubby had ribs, we both shared with each other. For sides I had the brisket baked beans and creamy corn, both delicious! The brisket was so lean and tender and so were the ribs. Great addition to Wichita and we can’t wait to go back! When the weather cools off, the outdoor dining will be great!“

“They have beef ribs! Overall it's pretty great barbeque, especially for Wichita! Reasonably priced and great service. You can tell the owner puts in some hard work smoking the meat. Also the cheesy potatoes are phenomenal. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other sides and meats. Will be recommending it to all my friends!“

“Amazing restaurant! Food was spectacular! I had the BBQ Mac and Cheese, and it was the best Mac and cheese I've ever had (don't tell my mom). Prices were SUPER reasonable. And only a 20 minute wait during lunch rush hour on a weekday. Also a loud establishment, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet for a date night then this is not the place. Although they have outdoor seating which may prove to be better for that reason.“

“I really like Hog Wild. Their bbq is some of the best I’ve had. I am a truck driver so I’ve been to many other location in the US. If I could just suggest one little change. I’d say that if a customer orders the 3 meat dinner and orders the chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. PLEASE wrap each meat separately instead of putting it all in the same wrapper. The customer could be ordering it to split between 3 people. And I know people will say to just request to have it wrapped separately. But I have done that in the past and it doesn’t get done. It honestly should just be common practice to keep them separate. Especially when the pulled pork and the brisket look so similar.“

“Ribs were money Pulled pork was a decent sandwich, had better Hot links were hot links… love em!! Ordered sliced brisket and got chopped.. threw it on the Texas Toast and it was fire!! Also tried the Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Mac… all 3 were pretty dang good. The only complaint I have is the Sweet Tea!! Tasted like they use Sweet and Low…awful“

“Some of the best BBQ in town. Had ribs tonight that not only fell off the bone, but ran from the bone. These ribs were so full of flavor that I felt bad for everyone around me that weren’t eating them. This comfort food is so comfortable that it should be in sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. If you haven’t checked out Fat Boyz, you’re missing out like your friend that hasn’t watched Black Mirror yet.“

Positives. Potato skins tasted great but the style was not what I expected more like a potato wedge. However they tasted great and were not over cooked.
The Mac and cheese was warm and cheesey and the noodle had a bite not just mush like some places.
Had utensils and napkins in the bag
Negative. The ribs were the absolute worst ribs I have had in years. So overcooked they were mush. Also the membrane had not been removed from the back.
Only reason I give them a 3 is I really did like the Mac and cheese but I will not go back for Mac and cheese.“

“I love Hog Wild, best bbq in Wichita. However, it is frustratingly ridiculous when I spend $150 on a meal and they want to haggle over
40 cents worth of bread. I ordered the large family meal which comes with 16 buns. I requested to substitute for Texas toast. The manager stated that they could only substitute with 8 pieces of toast. Pretty petty if you ask me after spending a good amount of money.“

“The exprerience was amazing and it was a great choice for my 2 year anniversary for and my girlfriend but the main takeaway is at the location in Wichita Kansas at 440 S Towne East Mall Drive our server Ramon he did a fantastic job and has great customer service skills I would definitely recommend a promotion if f I could but as for now he is a great employee and always was happy to help 20/10 customer service skills“

“Lunch boxes are large. Korean ramen very yummy, be careful with the spicy level, Korean spice is a whole nother level of face melting numbness. The DIY BBQ is a massive event be careful ordering all that food. Rice bowels are a delight especially the stone bowls option. I have to eaten here at least 20 times.“

“6:00 on a Sunday evening and hungry for BBQ on the west side of town. Rib Crib for the win. Ribs were delicious and the smoked chicken salad was great, especially since I added pulled pork.

Wife had the catfish which she loved. Our server was great and the food came out quickly.

The only downside was the restaurant could have been cleaner as the floors needed to be vacuumed and some of the tables needed bussed.

I have never had anything but good food here and don’t understand why they aren’t busier.“

“This is some of the best service I have ever received. We had a blonde waitress and the girl at the front was also so incredibly kind!

My gma is 96 and has trouble walking and a bit of dementia. The employees were so kind and patient, the lady at the front running to get ahead of us to make sure the door was open for her walker.

Our waitress was so kind and worked with my gma and was so patient with her. She was also on top of her game.

The food here is always OK but today it was cooked perfectly it's just not my personal favorite, though it is still good.

Even if the food was terrible the amazing service I received and the kindness my gma received makes this a place I will keep coming back to for a long time.

If there was a way I wish the two employees we had on June 16 around noon would be able to receive recognition and honestly a raise for their incredible kindness and great work.“
