We ate at Barrel Boys today for lunch. Honestly, I am really really picky with meat and I’m telling you this was the best BBQ we have ever had anywhere, including KC barbecue! I had brisket and my hubby had ribs, we both shared with each other. For sides I had the brisket baked beans and creamy corn, both delicious! The brisket was so lean and tender and so were the ribs. The food was great. The music was kinda loud though.
A very good barbecue spot close to downtown. Got a full package including pulled pork, turkey, and brisket and four side dishes including corn, potato salad, cole slaw, and pickles. This package is worth it if you have 3-4 people in your party. The food is delicious, staff are friendly, and the environment is cozy (is a small restaurant). I would highly recommend this place if you like a small, family BBQ place in Wichita!
