“By far the best BBQ in Wichita! I'm a huge fan of personally smoking my own brisket/ribs/pork-butt. I understand the craftsmanship it takes to make good BBQ. Coming from KC 7 years ago, I was really disappointed in the Wichita BBQ scene. I tried Station 8 BBQ for the first time yesterday and was really impressed. They put a lot of work into what they do. Everything from the meat to the sides to the desserts are amazing. Thanks for providing us with such great food. I know it takes A LOT of work.”

“Terrific! Previously reviewed, now updating. Marked service improvements, or maybe I caught Doo-Dah on an off-day before. Today's visit revealed the same awesome food. Prices are up there, but the food quality and portion sizes make it right. Just about any menu item, if fully consumed, will make you need a nap! Can fully recommend the Meatloaf lunch. Also, the French Dip is superb, with the Prime Rib being flavorful and lean. Au jus is perfect. INSIDER TIP... ask to be seated in D's area. Check this guy out. No pad. Everything from memory. Claims to be able to take up to 16 orders with complete accuracy. Impressive service. Highly recommeded.”

“Ehhh Bite Me! After strolling the mean streets of downtown Wichita this evening we made a stop at Bite Me BBQ on St. Francis. My travel partner and I shared the triple threat consisting of some fantastic spare ribs, chopped brisket, and pulled pork. The wimpy sauce had the perfect mix of sweet and just a little spice. We paired the protein with some homestyle mac n cheese and potato salad. Definitely worth the visit and the high customer ratings.”

“Love, love, love Poblanos. I've been eating their fabulous rice bowls since they had their first location on W. Central many years ago. I'm sure the rest of their food is excellent too, but I love, love, love their rice bowls and choice of ingredients - white or brown rice, beef (or chicken or other protein), sauteed veggies, cheese, cilantro, black olives, peppers and choice of 5 salsas varying in heat level (i choose the middle one which has a little heat but not too much.) . Be sure to have them put lots of extra broth from the meat on your bowl. I had a rice bowl at Fuzzy's the other day and it doesn't come close to the delicious rice bowls at Poblanos. I'd never order one of theirs again.”

This place is a little gem that I hope is around for a long time. There's only one hibachi grill so if you can't get a seat at the hibachi table, you can still order from a regular table and he'll cook your food at the hibachi table.”
