“My sister and I had lunch here yesterday and loved it!!! Pretzels were really good for an appetizer and then the Chicken Pot Pie was SO FREAKING GOOD!!! I love a down home meal like that and it didn’t disappoint!!! I’ll be back just for that!!! Our waiter Miles was a really nice guy and was very attentive to the customers. Thank You, Granite City!!! 😁😁“

“Great experience at The Bar West. The atmosphere was excellent and everything ran smoothly thanks to the manager, Deaken, who clearly knows how to run a solid operation. “typical stadium concession area, this one for Children's Mercy Park. Prices too high, food barely better then blah, service is usually cheerful because most are volunteering for charity.
Vegetarian options: there is a vegetarian Italian Sausage Sandwich.“

“The quintessential Kansas City night spot. A full service bar with beer, cocktails, plus some unique, tasty food (hamburgers baked in the pizza oven). Great service!
Featuring live music from the tiny stage, a minuscule dance floor with wavy floorboards. Plus train tracks right across the street. What more could anyone ask for?“

“A wonderful experience all around, the Mocktails we're amazing, we had the Salmon and the Chicken and we're absolutely delighted and left no crumbs. The server was frequent to our table despite how busy it was and we felt like we were eating at a friend's house with how customary it was. It was a little loud but for a packed house, that's expected.“

“Took a lady on a first date and chose this because we were walking the area. The food was great and we drew our server as Javad was super attentive, even while training. The only downside was the level of music while trying to talk across the table. I’m sure if I’d have though to bring it up to our server, he would have handled that for us as well.“

“I stopped in to Johnnie's West with my friend for lunch. We ordered the homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. The meatloaf was moist and full of flavor. I might add they served two generous slices. I'm hoping for a return visit for their other specials. I Love This Place“

“Overall, we had a good experience. We had a group of 12 on a Friday night, and they got us seated quicker than the 25' estimated wait. Our drink orders were taken promptly. Once served, our server took our food orders. Our waiter kept our drinks filled. Wait time for our orders was longer than desired but to be expected. All the orders were correct. I ordered the Santa Fe Grilled chicken salad which was fresh and good. It was a little chilly. I would eat there again!“
