Second night here during a work trip. Had the jambalaya tacos and fajitas all were amazing and really good service. Definitely come back when I’m in the area.
Great food and great experience for lunch today. Smash burger is a must have

Johnny's Tavern Ridgeview is a dependable spot for a quality meal. The food is very good, fresh, and well-prepared. The smashburger is one of the best, and the crispy cauliflower and brussel sprouts appetizer is tasty. The espinaca is very good, though the chips can be a little over cooked. Portions are generous, so get a box to take home. The cocktail called Hawaiian Punch is lovely, and the happy hour specials are great. Service is friendly, efficient, and attentive. Servers Janey and Chris were fantastic and super attentive, but not annoyingly so. Management actively engages customers regarding their experience. The atmosphere is spot on, with a very authentic Kansas City vibe. It is noisy, which is great for bringing kids. The booths have their own tvs to watch a favorite team. Expect a wait from 5:45 to 6, but it is a solid choice for a casual meal.
