“When going through the drive-thru in the summer and ordering a chocolate dipped ice cream cone, I EXPECT, since my home thermometer stated it was 107.1 degrees outside, the customer service employees would wait until the VERY LAST SECOND to make and dip my ice cream cone so that it ISN'T melting profusely, thru the chocolate shell, all down the side of the cone IMMEDIATELY upon receipt. I DON'T think I'm wrong here.Also, engineer's brain here, but when DIPPING an ice cream cone, if you DIP the ice cream just past the ice cream and SLIGHTLY ONTO THE ACTUAL CONE, you create a SEAL so that the ice cream, when it starts to melt, does not start dripping everywhere, while the customer is trying to eat it.Ugh! Come on people! Just common sense here!“

“I got the peanut butter waffle cone. I dont know what kind of special cows she has. But the actual icecream was amazing and has a really good flavor. The waffle cone was spot on as well and fresh. The peanut butter was a nice surprise mixed in. The only complaint and its not even a big deal. I would leave the whole peanuts as a topping. They are getting on the soft side. Outside of that definitely will be back to try more flavors.“

“Pop's and crew are amazing! We utilized the party room for my daughter's Sweet 16, and it was even better than we anticipated. It was so nice to have the ambiance set, and the kids loved having the option to pick their scrumptious treats. Love the music and all-around 50's vibe. Another bonus...plenty of options for the gluten/dairy free guests. I hope they feel as welcome to the neighborhood as they've already made their customers feel. Truly a delight!“
“Just wanted to hop on here and recommend Palacana. My husband really wanted carne asada fries for dinner, I showed them the picture and asked if they could make it. They whipped it up and I was on my way. They were absolutely delicious!!! We used to get these frequently in Colorado and haven’t seen them in Kansas; they were amazing and I hope they will be added to the menu in the future.Also the smoothies here are AMAZING; the food is great and the service is fast!“
“We had visited Nebraska Furniture Mart, then ate dinner at Famous Dave's. Which is right next to Russell Stove. Myself I was looking for their jelly beans. That must be a product of my past. My eyes spotted the Jelly Belly bulk, and right next to that, clearance.! I got a beautiful bag of jelly bellies and filled my arms with clearance candy. Then I saw it!!! Ice cream. I grabbed a l Carmel apple, and a bowl of Krazy Kookie ice cream. I mean what am ZI supposed to do, not get ice cream? The store had a weird set of packed chair and tables. I grabbed a random chair and made my mom wait for me to eat ice cream.4 stars! The chairs and tables were all stacked up in a part of the store. No lids for ice cream cups.“

“Culver's is one of those few places that actually staffs correctly, there are a ton of employees compared to other places and it's not because they're busy or overstaffed, it's because they're smart.They have so many employees on duty that everyone has a reduced work load, rested and unstressed employees are happy employees. This is the key to their success, everyone is always super nice, the facility is clean, and the food comes out fast, fresh, and orders are accurate.Culver's is focused on profits by truly prioritizing their customers and more businesses of all kinds should follow this strategy.“
“I walked into Cold Stone this day in hopes of a delectable and indulgent cold treat however I was given that and a twilight zone like out of body experience. It was as if M Night Shyamalan had written and produced a movie where a couple walk into a shop and are the only ones there with 3 people behind the counter yet felt like they were invisible. We had stood at the order giving place a mere 3 feet from a worker who had obviously been instructed to not acknowledge our existence in some sort of practical joke. They were scooping around the ice cream and putting the scoop down aimlessly for maybe 2 minutes as we thought she must’ve been making a Uber eats order but nope just scoop, drop scoop, repeat. I at first was curious to see how long this would last but then I had to ask “so uhhh watch a doing?” Girlfriend holding back giggles at this point as shockingly I was ignored. I keep going “so are yah playing with it? I would too if I worked here I guess” then we were told “nope just getting out some of the bad stuff” we were relieved that we were in fact not invisible then our minds went back to the ice cream. So after the awkward silence after that back and forth we then go for it “so uhhh can we order now” then the normal process of ordering food at a food place began then silence fell over the shop. Two of the workers began conversation “which seemed like normal human behavior” so we were more relieved then payed for our treats and left.An older woman was going for the door as we were leaving so I held the door for her then she looked at it decided not to go in and also didn’t acknowledge us.Well done Cold Stine hiring a director, writer, and actors for this hilarious prank.P.S. Ice cream was fire.“
“I have had numerous positive interactions with the staff here, who are typically very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there have been two instances when I encountered staff members who didn't meet the same high standard of service. This minor concern aside, the majority of the staff are professional, helpful, and go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. This is a popular ice cream shop in Bonner Springs because of the unique flavors and the fun environment of the old mill. I ordered the Rocky Road flavor and it was packed with delicious peanut butter cup chunks. There are several other shops and businesses inside of the Olde Mille: Ten & Two Coffee Bar, Quentin's BBQ & Sides, Outfield Beer Company, Grip 'N' Rip KC, Octane Performance & Restoration, and Hamilton Hand Wash & Detail. There is quite a bit to look at in this strip of businesses! Did I mention there is a large outdoor patio with several picnic tables and a decked out space for cornhole. You could spend all day here!
