“Sylas & Maddys has always been my favorite go to for Ice Cream! They have the best homemade ice cream in Kansas! The service is always friendly and polite. The Ice Cream is out of this world! Their cones are also homemade and very tasty. They like to rotate their flavors and are always coming up with new flavors. The atmosphere is homie and you always feel welcome. I just love this place. I’ve never had a bad experience here. They’ve also won plenty of awards. If you’re into Ice Cream, you need to try it. You’ll love it. ❤️“

“My family and I just got back from Sweet Cups! It's our new favorite ice cream spot. The owners were super nice and I loved looking at all the historic buildings and Churches on the way. Many of the buildings, including sweet cups (1940) were built in the early 1900s.“

“Michael at Melt Box was great, and made it really easy for us. He sent pictures of their cups and spoons at my request, and everything was extremely aesthetic. Their fun flavors were a hit as well! He made sure to save some scoops of our favorite flavors for us so they didn’t run out. I’d absolutely recommend Melt Box for a fun way to do dessert at your wedding!“

“I have been here several times and all the treats are so delicious. I am dairy free and gluten free for my health, which makes finding a safe dessert difficult. Im so thankful to have found Sweet Emotion! I recently purchased the espresso brown sugar gluten free cookie and the gluten free cosmic brownie. They were both incredible, soft, full of flavor, and most importantly safe foods! We purchased the chocolate ice cream with caramel and it was so tasty, soft, creamy, and full of flavor. It has been hard to find a dairy free option that was this creamy!“

Got big 4 chocolate chip cookies 2 chocolate chip brownies, 6 mini ones and then the lady told Us they made changes on their chocolate chip cookies this week Unfortunately I was not a fun of the new changes. “Our favorite fro yo place by far!! My kids love going to the library at the plaza to play right after getting our treats. $6 cup day is the way to go but they also have a great point system plus a really awesome reading program our oldest is working on where Fifth & Emery reward reading time with free fro yo, Books for Yo! They have games and books for reading in the restaurant too. Such a great localy owned family establishment. We visit for every celebration and always try to make it in for $6 cup days. Gotta love a super delicious and healthy alternative to ice cream that focuses on family 🩷“

“Today, our homeschool program held a fundraiser here after school. There were only two workers, Nathan, and another young lady in the back. There were over 100 people in line. These two served everyone with a smile. They were friendly and got orders out as quickly as possible. I know they were probably feeling overwhelmed, but they did not show it. I’m sure they were exhausted once their shift was over! I hope the owner sees this, because those two definitely deserve a raise!“

“Sure, the ice cream is really good, but the service is off the charts. Just a typical Wednesday night and they are in the weeds. The line is out the door and you know they feel the pressure, yet continue to serve with a smile. Patience is key. It's not their fault that everyone in the area loves this place and happens to be here all at once. Rather than get frustrated, just sit back and watch them work. Your ice cream will come, and when it does, you will realize why it's worth the wait. You know about the lines and yet you still come back. That's saying something about the experience.“

“Ice cream was really good with great variety. Only issue was it comes out a bit melty. Not like custard usually does, since spinning the toppings in adds heat. It's a bit more than that even. Otherwise a great little shop for ice cream at what I felt was a good price.“

“My family got the icecream and cookie flight. We each picked a flavor combo and did 2 lemon cheesecake bar, 1 strawberry, 1 sea turtle for the ice creams and 2 iced sugar, 1 chocolate chip, and 1 blue chip royal for the cookies. Everyone loved it!!!“

“I Love Blue Bell icecream, even though I am lactose intolerant. It is hands down the best icecream. But unfortunately I can no longer afford Blue . The price has become outrageous.Turkey Hill is pretty good and is half the price.Bye bye Blue Bell, but I will watch for lower pricing.“

“Really good doughnuts of all kinds! Pretty pricey, to be honest, but I think it's worth it to treat yourself to their superb, delicious, big donuts of lots of different types and flavors. I haven't tried their ice cream yet, but the flavors listed on the menu sound delicious, with lots of unique options, too.
There are small seating areas indoors and outdoors, and it is located in a pretty, quiet neighborhood. I can see it being an enjoyable spot to meet with friends, read (maybe one of the books from their lending library), or take a moment to rest. I will definitely go back!“
