This was dished before I could say "in a cone" which is the way I typically order ice cream, etc. So, if you like fast service, fabulous frozen treats, and the planet we live on, I'd highly recommend starting your order with "IN A CONE, I would like a scoop of..." (my favorite is grapefruit prosecco).“

“This was a perfect little ice cream shop. There are plentiful flavors from which to choose, and my coffee/mint chip ice cream in a waffle cone was delicious, however the waffle cone could have had a bit more flavor. I'm always a fan of made in house ice cream, and seemingly from the crowded shop on a Friday in late March so is everyone else. Prices were appropriate for high quality ice cream, and if you have a family they have a six flavor flight so everyone can share.“

Biscuits too big or too small or obviously "shot out of a can"? Nah. When you finish, there should be no gravy left and no biscuit hanging around begging for more gravy. It's gotta be just right. So until I had the biscuits and gravy at The Borough, my favorites were at The Corner in Riverside, MO. Good proportions, creamy and satisfying. But... the ones at The Borough? Best I've ever had. Lots of sausage, excellent gravy, perfect biscuits. If you haven't had them, go on Wednesday. That's the day! I'll be there, too, enjoying my favorite meal.“

“A surprise find of a little shop I found by googling milkshakes. This was the first instance of the kids getting to see rolled up ice cream in person. The guy doing the chopping and freezing was fast and very skilled. It was pretty much a show with the ice cream.The lady working the till was excellent too, giving the kids plenty of chances order on their own.Overall a 10 out of 10 experience. Right when you walk in, you are instantly hit with the delicious smell of flavorful popcorn. There is an entire wall with a variety of different flavors ranging from salty, sweet, and everything in between. You can stick with the classics: like butter, cheese, and caramel . You can go the sweet route and try strawberry, blueberry, grape, and even more fruity flavors. There are chocolate covered popcorn options for our chocolate lovers. My two favorites: the dill pickle and the fried pickle popcorn flavors. I also ordered the caramel cheesy and buttery combined flavor. Admittedly, I tried just about all of the flavors and there was not a single one I didn't like. Along with popcorn, I ordered a cup of Rocky Road ice cream...and of course it was delicious. “The atmosphere of the restaurant spelled out authentic Mexican food without overdoing it. Service was quick to sit us down to offer a menu and drinks. What was unique is that they do not give chips and salsa as all other Mexican joints do. They offer chicharon pinwheels with hot sauce which I think made it better and brought my Hispanic childhood back with memory of the heladero (ice cream man). I ordered empanadas that I had never tried with chicken meat, my daughter chose sopes with Al Pastor meat. My wife got tacos with Al Pastor meat too. They both liked their dishes and mine was yummy with both the green sauce and red sauce. I will go back to try other dishes.“

“Today, our homeschool program held a fundraiser here after school. There were only two workers, Nathan, and another young lady in the back. There were over 100 people in line. Multiple times, this location has only put the second topping on the top. kind of defeats the purpose of a jackhammer if you don't do it correctly. oh, and the bottom 1/3 of my custard was completely vanilla (no toppings whatsoever!)“

I didn't notice I was missing my change until after they closed. I didn't call the location the next day because I figured they would just think I was trying to scam them. However, after being in Retail for many years and completing thousands of cash reports myself, I know what it's like to have customers call and report a shortage in change given back. On Tuesday I was taken with funding an ice cream truck for an event on Thursday and was skeptical about the sorry notice but Tasty Unicorn responded immediately and was available. Everyone enjoyed the delicious ice cream, their truck, and the service was incredible. They were able to serve about 225 people in a little over an hour.
