Subway in Derby

“Ben was working all by himself on a Sunday evening. Several mobile orders were ahead of us and he politely let us know he’d get to us as soon as possible. He advised other customers that came in thru drive thru and inside. He worked very quickly and made our sandwiches perfectly.

I saw the “now hiring” sign on the door, so I imagine he was alone because of being short staffed. I just want to give a shoutout because he’s working so hard.

“I don't typically tip at these types of places but I really wish I would have left a tip (I ordered ahead through the app). Service was speedy and friendly. The best part is that I ordered a footlong with sauces only on one side and the employee wrapped both sides individually and made a note on the side with the sauce. Something I didn't ask for, but makes it much easier for me to leave the one side wrapped and save for lunch tomorrow. Thanks!“
