“Our pizza is always ready for pickup and the quality is good. I prefer their thin crust pizza. It cooks crisp while the toppings are exactly the right amount. We like the take-and-bake pizza so we can watch ball games on TV without the distractions of a restaurant environment.”

“We had a great first experience at Hickory Stik. My husband got the St. Louis style ribs and they were super tender, falling off the bone. He enjoyed the potato salad and the portions were huge. I got the loaded baker with pulled pork and it was delicious. The cheese curds were also a great addition. Jacob took care of us and he was very informative and attentive. The owner of this restaurant is lucky to have him. We have been to many many barbecue restaurants around the country and think of ourselves as pretty picky. We definitely recommend Hickory Stik and we will be back.”

“So, I tried this little place for the first time as a part of a "cash mob" designed to support the business as a result of some street closings that had really.hurt their traffic. I am so glad I went! The food was amazing, the al pastor street tacos with their green sauce were fantastic, the rice and beans were perfect, the chile relleno street tacos were a surprise. All in, just great food. The service took a while but that was because of the cash mob, there was a line out the door, all their seating was full and its not a very place to begin with but even then, once they took our order it was only about 8-10 minutes for our food to be prepared. It's a small, family operated place and you can see right into the kitchen where the cooks are doing everything from chopping fresh onions to making tortillas to order, right there with an old stamped metal tortilla press. All together, I will definitely return and you should try it too!”

“I asked for a coffee shop that was good for working and the all knowing Yelp brought me here. Three hours later, after a double espresso and a bunch of wifi, I was done and off to explore some of Hutchinson.

Funky, eclectic and almost random interior. Why would anyone go to the Green Siren people when there's this awesomeness. I had a great coffee and enjoyed a comfortable spot. This was absolutely five stars.”

“Just bought Banana Split. It was horrid. $4.50 for old soggy banana with whip cream and couple drops of flavors an little fruit etc. Been some time since I was there. Don't plan to go back. Brahm's Splits put these to shame. The lady who made it put Split in lid of package and not base with lid on it. Was in a rush. Don't know why. No one there. Very sad mess. She needs training or retraining.”

“We came out to eat this morning with our family from out of town, and we had never even heard of this until last night. We were served amazing breakfast food. The waiter was great and attentive. My two-year-old had the number one on the kid's meals, and they loved it. My husband had biscuits and gravy, and I had a very large-sized breakfast burrito. The pancakes were almost as big as the plate! The eggs and hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. I definitely want to come back and try that banana bread french toast special! :) The atmosphere was great, and one of the kids who worked there explained to us the restaurant's history. Such a great worker!”

“This was my first Spangles experience. It was great having the opportunity to get something healthy. I ended up having the pita with chicken. You could get a variety of dipping sauces for it. Manager needs to lower her voice and not yell at employees to get busy in front of customers.
The main thing I was disappointed in is we were setting back by the waitress work station and could everything. Ashlynn who was not waiting tables but helping at cash register went back there to get something dropped tongs on the floor, picked them up and put them right back on the counter work station without washing, wiping them off or anything. I’m thinking it may not be a good idea to have customers where we can see what happens in the work BUT would rather know employees know right from wrong. I wish I would have paid attention to our waitress name as she was great.”

“The food was excellent. We had two kids’ Mac-n-cheese, two adult Mac-n-cheeses, a club salad, a vegetarian pizza with jalapeños, a Perfect 300 calzone, and The Ultimate calzone. They were all excellent. The Mac-n-cheese appeared to be homemade, not out of some box. I would have given it an overall 5-star rating if the service were better. We were seated (seat yourself) for over 10 minutes before a waiter showed up. The place wasn’t busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Bonus: 10% military discount on the entire bill.

Kid-friendliness: The kids’ meals quality, portion size, and price was better than any place we’ve ever been.

Parking: Plenty of parking. You would likely be able to park an RV most any time.”

“This was our second visit to this restaurant, as Hutchinson is the halfway stop between our current home in Lubbock, TX, and my childhood home town of Brookings, SD. The menu selection of steaks, burgers, and comfort food favorites is excellent. The salads and side dishes are fresh and delicious, and the complimentary dinner rolls are irresistible to those of us who are trying, unsuccessfully, to maintain a low carbohydrate diet! Since we we will probably be spending an extra day in Hutchinson due to bad weather in Lubbock, we are looking forward to another visit to this steakhouse!”

They no longer provide an itemized receipt before paying, and instead you’re required to check out on a handheld screen while the server waits. You have to choose your tip before you can even see your full bill, which feels rushed and uncomfortable. I prefer being able to review my charges and tip at my own pace. Transparency is important to consumers.”

“Despite the lobby being closed in a long line and went through drive-thru normally, I ordered the number six for the longest in the '90s but by far every time I've come home it always breaks down. But when I got home tonight the taco was great. Nothing was broken and it stayed intact. I appreciate it”
