“Had an amazing waitress (Bri) who took care of us and seemed to enjoy the questions of the menu and the environment! She did an amazing job making the small wait worth while... only took 10 minutes to be seated, so hats off to the staff!!!!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. “My husband and I came in from out of state and he made a reservation for us at Piropos, everything from our contact with the hostess to our departure from the restaurant was personable and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night the food was delicious and our waitress, Catherine, was extremely attentive and kind, as I’m in a wheelchair, making our visit one of the best nights we had on our 5 day stay in Kansas City! I would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a classy atmosphere with the best waitstaff and food we’ve ever experienced!“

“this place was just too expensive to be worth it for someone with my budget, BUT if you have the money, check this menu out! I wish it was a stand alone restaurant because due to it being in a casino the walk inside reeks of cigarette smoke. ok onto the food. I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes. The cut was cooked beautifully, but again just too expensive. We got the burrata as a starter which was insanely good. I’ve tried to recreate it since then, but they must do something special because I can’t get it right! For dessert we had the bread pudding and it was maybe just a bit TOO rich. Everyone was super friendly so the experience was nice!“

“They seated us next to a loud large birthday party. The service was slow, I assume because they were fairly busy for a Thursday night. By the time we got the main course it was slightly cold. I have been disappointed the last 2x I've been there. Food quality is going downhill. The risotto wasn't cooked right (2nd time) and the mac n cheese tasted like plastic. Sorry used to love it. “Typically within my travels a steak house like this is unimpressive when you evaluate the value of the meal. This establishment does not fall into that stereotype. The menu does offer some unique selections to break up the monotony of typical steak cuts. Do not sleep on the arrachera or be dissuaded by the cut. The flavor and tenderness was great and definitely unique when compared to typical steak house options. The whiskey selection is phenomenal and the quality of service is fantastic. One of the best restaurants I have visited in the Kansas City area.“

“Husband ordered the Ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly. Steak was extremely tender and flavorful. I ordered the ribs. I prefer a dry rub so it was a little saucier than I prefer but it was still very good. Meat fell off the bone. Mac n cheese was good as well. Waitress was very attentive and service was quick as we go there right when it opened. I will return again but next time I will also get the steak.“

“Went on a trip near here with the wife. We ate here and it was one of the best ribeye steaks we've ever had. We are also a steak snob so that is quite a compliment. Would definitely recommend if your intown or close to there to go eat a ribeye“
